PL007 is the beginning of a duo with Praymond and Thomas Murphy.
It all started by setting up a temporary music studio in an old farm made of stones in the french countryside during the heat wave of Summer 2016 in France
First, plug a microphone and start recording a couple of dry leafs crunched with gentle hands and mixed with the sound of ice cubes tingling at the bottom of a "Pastis" glass add to this some brushes played on a newspaper and fingers banging on the edge of a Kalimba, then finally, build around with your drum machines and analog synths.
The result is a classy brand a alternative minimal techno, mixing acoustic rhythmics and relentless swing.
None of the tracks were designed for massive "big room" type techno with "big drops" and never ending "build ups" but more for human size bounding experiences and never ending after partys.
Both slow burning tracks have in common a introspective quality, specially "Les Cailloux" but both tracks remain "Solar" in essence.
"Cadillac" has a more "Gold tooth & Chains" attitude to it and could remind the listener (If he ever had the experience) of being on the run in a get away car, stepping on the gas, crossing the desert with an open roof top after robbing our dear financial institutions :)

After putting the band on the map with their first EP two years ago, the band Feathered sun has grown into a life of it’s own. The more live sets they have played, the better they have defined their style. They are spearheading a brand of “sound healing music” abstractly narrative, always poetic, sometimes flirting with darkness but always perfectly produced to carry the audience into their own world.
Feathered Sun are the collaborative experiment of Nu, Jo.Ke, Raz Ohara, Chris Schwarzwaelder, Iannis Ritter and Acid Pauli Johannes Laumer. Each have active and flourishing solo artist careers, albeit still have time to collaborate with one another. The six-strong collective are a close-knit troupe who are primarily based in Berlin and Lima, Peru.
Live improvisation is ultimately what brought the Feathered Sun project to life - they are open about their laidback, impromptu approach and this is apparent throughout this EP. Side A was primarily crafted in Peru by Chris Schwarzwaelder and Jo.Ke with Raz Ohara’s mesmerising vocals. The end material was then sent to Nu in Berlin who crafted two tracks out of it.
The ‘Bulbo’ EP shows a willingness to explore different approaches within the collective and the music showcases their long-standing affiliation. It is a downtempo EP that has immaculate instrumentation, dreamy pads and brooding vocals throughout. This is intertwined with organic sounds and moody atmospheric melodies, gives the release a timeless and emotive ambience.

Forest Drive West returns to Livity Sound with the 'Dualism' EP, a tour de force of stripped dub
aesthetics and swirling psychedelic rhythms.
One of the finest breakthrough UK producers of recent years, in a short space of time Forest Drive
West has created an enviable catalogue across labels such as Livity Sound, Rupture, Echocord,
Whities and Mantis. This new EP marks some of his best work to date.
The final track on the EP, 'Scorpion', features Melbourne based percussionist Lucky Pereira whose
frenetic but tightly locked drums add a fizzing energy to Forest Drive West's deep atmospheric rhythm
track.
Livity Sound is a label set up by Peverelist in 2011 as a vehicle for a raw and exploratory strain of UK
techno, rooted in the heritage of UK dance music and sound system culture. It has since become one

Marking ten years since his passing, join Defected in honouring the enduring legacy of house music pioneer. All proceeds of ‘House Masters: Frankie Knuckles’ will be donated to Frankie Knuckles Foundation as it was when the compilation was originally released back in April 2015.
“Frankie Knuckles, whom many consider to be one of the architects of house music is still highly influential to a new generation. Since his untimely passing ten years ago it has been incredible to see the continued outpouring of love and respect that he has received. His legacy is why the Frankie Knuckles Foundation exists. Through our work we honour him by supporting initiatives that he was passionate about: music education, AIDS and diabetes research, prevention and LGBTQIA+ youth homelessness. DESTIN CONRAD, is a sultry R&B singer hailing from Tampa, Florida. A newcomer to the music industry, DESTIN actually got his start on Vine, amassing over 1M followers. Years later he received his first major writing credits on Kehlani's Billboard #2 album, It Was Good Until It Wasn't. DESTIN's debut project, COLORWAY, was released in 2021 and has surpassed over 120 million streams. He spent 2022 on the road opening for artists Syd and Kehlani on their respective tours.

“Your home is now the club, which makes it my responsibility,” says Tiga, safe inside a thick denim containment suit. “This is not the time for relentless bangers, no matter how amazing they sound when live-streamed by the world’s loneliest DJs. ’This Is a Dream’ is an epic poem, an immunity passport to the boundless dimensions that lay beyond the veil of slow wave sleep.
