Dimi Angelis presents ANGLS 14 - four raw, spaced out, 909-driven tools in his characteristically direct and minimalistic style. Sparse, delicate sequences reverberate to provide a sense of space against classic drum patterns that build into a full workout.

The A1 opens with Third Eye - a slow, tense build with heavy low end and terse percussion, setting the tone. Endorama on the A2 is driven by a living bleep - distorted, repeating, but never quite the same.

Decka opens the B side with a remix of Intergalactic to provide a groove heavy, sequence-driven and lethal interpretation of Dimi's sound. Chrysalis rounds off the package on the B2 with a rolling 101 bassline and descending bleep that hypnotizes
and controls the listener.

Sales Note
The 13th release of Dimi Angelis on his ANGLS labels just comes in the right time. In a moment where the urge for something raw and real never has been bigger, Dimi delivers four pounding tracks.

The A side of this EP consists of two tracks, "Shadowland" and its spatial nuances catch one right at the beginning with its lasso-like loops, who won't let go too easily as the track evolves. Highly dancefloor oriented is the track "Intergalactic", with its mechanical noise attack, using the 909 to create suspense paired with punchy inductions.

On the B side one is encountered with "Crionics", a track which transports into a deep sonic hole, an access to full immersion, giving both tension and resolution to the listener. The strength of "Ice Warrior" resonates through voltaic frequencies and is the abstract yet wholesome conclusion to this work of art.

Dimi Angelis is back with his signature sound set to stir up every floor from basements to warehouses. More

Dimi Angelis presents the 11th release on his ANGLS label - four timeless, heavily saturated,and straightforward tools decorated with minimalistic and highly effective sequences.

On the A-side, "Warp Drive" opens with an impactful 909 groove interrupted by a sharp and manic percussive sequence - the energy is driven by the interplay between these elements. "Hidden Spider" offers a driving, polyrhythmic bass line plotted against two psychedelic sequences interlocked in a call-and-response pattern.

On the B-side, "Cyberman" is direct and persistent - FM synthesis and highly focused hi-hats create an insistent and unrelenting rhythm. "Axonite" closes out the EP with a dense low-end and patiently evolving sci-fi-influenced sequences that fluctuate in intensity - effective weapons for any dancefloor. More

Release Note:
Dimi Angelis' 10th release on his ANGLS label is an exercise in weaponised minimalism
- four highly machined tools, rich with subliminal and subversive frequencies.

"The Web of Fear" opens with assertive and persistent percussion complemented by an enveloping low-end that slowly builds tension across the track's length. "Burlesque" follows with a militant, broken rhythm pattern that is progressively interrupted by dissonant and metallic stabs. Both tracks are free of frills - the few elements at play here are used to their full effect to create standout tools, perfect for layering.

"Imaginary Voyage" veers into minimalist sci-fi territory, perhaps the most introspective track on the EP. It presents a sparse groove decorated by FM tones that come and go like passing comets. "Polemics" closes the story with aggressive character - machine-driven, bitcrushed loops driven to the point o destruction, against the ebb and flow of a continuously modulated low-end. All bite, no bark. More

Fifty Fifty is a whizzing powerhouse, its syncopated arpeggios driving it along. Eastern Phantasy takes the listener across a dark and revolving landscape of sound. Mysterious and alluring at the same time. Final track Magnetik is the odd one out on this EP. In terms of sound design, certainly not in terms of impact. Repetitive, industrial stabs interlaced with a subtle driving synth make for a compelling whole. More

CRFSPLIT is a new series, a collaboration between CRF and a guest label with two different artists. For the first release, we choose CLFT, the French label based in Lyon. On the A side we ask Birth of Frequency to do two tracks, The Scar and The Fink, two hypnotic and abstract tunes, with a dry and claustrophobic atmosphere. CLFT choose 2030 on the B side with Life’s Lake and Fallen-in, very Detroit influenced with light pads and melodies. More

ZADIG is back on his own imprint with three nervous and raw tracks. He founds two of them in a “Rush” folder, and after a few months playing those two tracks all around the world, he decided to release the package under the title of “Lost Tape” with an additional Jam as a bonus beat. Tape 1 is a banging and hypnotic long track, with a frenetic synth and explosives hats.Tape 2 is more dirty, with distorted synth and crunchy beats. After a striking tune that brought us "Ad Infinitum", the reclusive artist and little-known pilot, presents two tracks inspired by his night ride adventures with his former car, The legendary Colorline from 91 who died recently during a high speed chase while pursued by a crazy pimp riding a Renault Kangoo. "Crash 141" and "My Death Drive" are both the result of his fascination with thrill of driving in the inner city at extremely high speeds.. And here comes Diotime, sorrowed French artist, fascinated by stars and the cosmos. She creates raw emotional objects, torn between despair and gaiety. Her new direction is called A & B on this new CRF Compilation. Two rough tracks made in one dark night, a night that changed our lives.
