The complementary duality that is Ichinen is the raw expression of Roberto Bosco and Kiny. 2017 sees them
return with the proven form of their alliance, kicking things off with the Dual Craters album. Produced through live
sessions in their native Salerno, this album embodies the symbiosis of their individualities. Traversing the
universe much like lone comets, the two land on a single planet with a resounding crash, leaving deep craters on
two opposite ends of this floating sphere. But despite their being unique, they are also perfectly matched in shape
and form. It is this mirror dynamic that makes Ichinen output so immersive. Roberto and Kiny each bring their own
take to music yet create a singular, relatable narrative through their collaboration.Tracks like “First Impact” and
“Strangely Comforting” — with their sidereal atmosphere and sparse drum arrangements — paint a picture of the
interplanetary journey that brings Ichinen into being. “Lander” and “Small Martian” offer a peek into the planet onto
which the lone comets crashed — a space filled with expansive, empty land and unfamiliar inhabitants.The
second half of the album moves into a realm of revelations about where we are. “Be silent and safe” features
indiscernible voices in conversation, piquing curiosity while leaving little to be concluded. “Not so plain in this
terrain” showcases our surroundings further, with unknown creatures squeaking all around us. “Dual Craters”
takes us to a vantage point, from which we can look out across the planet’s surface and clearly see all its
wondrous beings, out and unafraid, emerging from each crater in equal abundance. Some howl excitedly, others
meet and playfully bump into each other, but all seem to get along. It is in “Endlessness” that we find the truth
behind Ichinen — a tale of two souls woven into one sound. The craters are matched in breadth and depth. It is in
their respective textures that they differ. And therein lies the power of their connection. More

Finally here we are with the fourth release on Last Drop Records, signed by the london-based
Stavrogin.
'Collectors' takes a more subdued approach from his debut on Australian label 3BS, focusing on ampdriven
ambient textures and digital experimentation. ‘Sixty Acres’ is a juddering mass of static textures
and penetrative low-end, forcing itself to a crumbled close. Title track ’Collectors’ is something like the
afterglow. Weary and destitute, the track stumbles through heatwave-soaked atmospheres,
fragmented voices stuttering like a malfunctioning android. ‘Are These Actual Miles?’ is perhaps the
most direct, with its tremors of noise punctuated by a rhythmic pulse.
This is a feature Italian duo Ichinen have capitalised on in their closing remix, reducing the track to a
warbling, dead-eyed drum workout. More

The “Ichinen” project was born from the strong music connection between Roberto Bosco and Kiny -
both producer, performers and founders of Last Drop Records imprint - and from the need to share
their personal music concept. Finally, this year they returns on their label with the first official track
under new Ichinen monicker. The title-track, “A Morning Without Glory”, is indeed a unique melting pot
of the different music approaches and visions. The track is determination at its purest form: a
relentless 4/4 beat impulse, constantly striving and spaced out by industrial and metallic sounds that
convey its deep and atmospheric imaginary. Truly abstract and experimental techno that goes beyond
its ordinary stylistic logics. On the B-side one may find “A Morning Without Glory” reviseted at this time
in two evocative interpretation by the most renowed artist in the nowadays techno scene. The first one

This year irrepressible Italian born electronic producer Roberto Bosco returns with a new EP via his own imprint
Last Drop Records, recently founded alongside with his partner in crime Kiny. This EP, that features four tracks,
begins in media res with Sonorous Waves Part 1. An ambient intro track that creates the conditions for a mystic
and celestial environment that pervades the whole release. Towards the end of the track a psychedelic reflection
reshapes the sound: it is the light that filters, crystal clear and bright. The other track on the same side, Part 2, is
more dancefloor oriented with a 4/4 beat and multi-layered structure made of typical industrial and techno
sonorities. It's evident that they include Roberto Bosco's legacy: stormy emotions but with deep and melodic
sound lines. Part 3 is another intro track, starting with spectral sounds that carefully develop into a full sci-fi
ambience. Then, finally, part 4 arises with obscure and hypnotics sounds that match very slowly a more perpetual

Roberto Bosco has selected Kiny’s music to better prepare his first 12", consisting of four tracks, named
“Damaged Memory”.The track Unknown (A1) leads off the dance of the release on Last Drop Records imprint. It’s
a proper exploration in an unknown sonic territory to most of the people, and also a difficult element to make out
for those who are novice to the visonary component in the musical poetic of Kiny. The track starts with rounds of
recurring sirens, almost deafening, framed by dark and ghostly noises. Something not easily identifiable,
ambiguous and unknown, as the title itself says, is perceptible in its sound. All this helps to shape a bad presage
that fades away into the mystery. On the same side we find Pain Is Full (A2) that, according to the producer, was
born in a moment of pain which can be overcome only by fighting. In fact, the track is characterized by a more
combative and insistent tone, made up by the sound of snare and tom entering since the start and determining an
atmosphere of contrast able to shake the listener until the end. Shouts of encouragement suggest an initiation rite
in which there is struggle for survival. The titletrack, Damaged Memory (B1) has more quiet register with less
ghostly vocals, perceived at times, unlike the previous tracks. The sounds have a vanished effect, such as when
you create a halo on a white sheet with the dust of a pencil just sharpened. You will hear a sort of democracy
among the sounds held together by the voice, a metaphor of a damaged memory, as the title itself recite, that
always makes the same process till the end: it commences by recalling but then forgets. Last, is the version of the
producer Iori, Damaged Memory (B2), on the same side. The Japanese remixer begins with a 4/4 architecture
and well-articulated sounds, perfect for warming up the dancefloor, a jolly track which contributes to the
experimental tone, but invariably mystical of the entire release. More
