Once again, Erol Alkan and Boys Noize have teamed up, for what has become a stunning re-imagining of last years smash single 'Avalanche'.. Determined to avoid a taking an obvious route, the pair originally intended to commision a spoken word interpretation- the natural choice was the melifluous Jarvis Cocker.
Throwing his creative muscle behind the project, it was Jarvis's inspired choice for him to recite the seminal lyrics of Leonard Cohen's song of the same name... A handwritten letter and CDR were dispatched to Mr Cohen, who very quickly gave his full and delighted support to the project.
All that was left was for Jarvis to add his distinctive twist to the title, in the form of 'Avalance (Terminal Velocity)' despite this unlikely paring of minds the finished work sees the sonorous tones of Mr Cocker riding the megalithic slabs of fizzing synths and pistoning drums with aplomb to mesmeric effect.
On the remix tip the duo enlist the maestro himself Ewan Pearson, who supplies not one, but two different flavours of rerub - the 'Hall Of The Mountain King Remix' mix takes the original on a warped acid redux via Chicago, while the 'Deeper Underground Re-Version' reroutes proceedings to dubbed out Berlin basement afterhours to stunning effect. Not to be out done, hot talent Canblaster interprets the original as a low-slung bleeptastic old-school electro workout that rounds the package off in glorious style.

It's not for anyone else to decide what other young men and women should get up to in the sanctity of their own bedrooms. That said, it's heartening to know that not everyone using the term "bedroom band" is a lazy person making bad excuses for a tossed off record.
For four, long years, Django Django have been busy doing great things in the East London bedroom slept in by their drummer, producer and de facto leader David Maclean. The result of those great things is a great self-titled debut record.
"Time gives you options, and we had plenty of that," says Vincent Neff, the singer and guitarist who - along with bassist Jimmy Dixon and synth operator Tommy Grace - completes Django Django.
"There was no pressure on us from anyone to go away with a producer and come back two weeks later with an album," explains Maclean. "Maybe next time there will be some svengali figure banging his fists on a desk demanding hits, but we've had the luxury to figure out what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it."
The quartet, who met at art school in Edinburgh, first came to peoples' attentions after a gradual migration to London a couple of years back. 2009's double A-side single "Storm"/"Love's Dart" laid the blueprint for a confident, adventurous and psychedelically-bruised strain of art-rock that melds intangible electronic flourishes to the visceral rub of live instrumentation.
The time since has been spent holed away, expanding upon that blueprint, seeing where they can push it. The impression one gets of Django Django is of a band laying down the first, meticulously measured borders on some vast map of a world that only they are privy to.
Correspondent to that, each track is like its own nation of harmonies, rhythms and textures. "We didn't put much conscious thought into making it sound like an album - we thought we'd let any similarities between the songs come out by themselves," explains Tommy.
What that means in practice is the swooning, bucolic Beach Boy-isms of opening track "Hail Bop" and the sterner, questing Bo Diddley beat guitars of "Life's A Beach". The industrious, go-getting tattoo verses of "Firewater" and the sleepy cowboy sighs of "Silver Rays".
"Default" and "Waveforms" are future singles. The former sounds like an uprising in a Mexican gun factory, the latter The Glitter Band's "Rock And Roll Part 2" disappearing from sight like a particularly successful Kongming Lantern.
"Music's so mad and widespread and varied, that eclecticism's the only way to be for us," reasons Maclean. "That said, I think you can draw a line through all the music we're into. It's about creativity and experimentation and the quest to find a new sound."
Amid all the diverse moods and ideas of Django Django (all there, perhaps, as the imagination wanders to stave off bedroom boredom?) it's a lyric from "Silver Rays" that most capably sums up its parent album.
"We venture out into the great uncharted," sings Neff, "go far away from any beaten track… Enjoy it now before it's far departed, you know that once it's gone that there'll be no way back."
The lyrics can be read as a desire to explore first, and a tribute to what Dixon calls their decision to "stick to their guns" when outside forces tried to convince them to forget everything they'd seen.
"A lot of people expected us to ditch our recordings and start all over again, but that was never something we wanted to do. It's great to have a body of work - something you can point to, and say this is the story so far."
If that's true, then Django Django's story looks set to be a long and compelling one. By banging together their thirst for adventure and their exacting high standards, they've produced an album that seems to have everything, but on which everything never seems too much.

OUT 17th of OCT!
GETHIGH is a new track release from Laid Back. The lyrics may instantly lead your mind onto thinking of cannabis but try to think about it in a broader context, in a more universal way. We all want to get high whatever we do in life, in all walks of life, in spirits, sports, politics, showbusiness, all kind of business, in school and education and not to forget love. Musically the groove is kept in the recognizable family of the horse, with an updated twist. Actually the song was born in key of major, as a more rock guitar riff kinda song included in the package. Also included is an ultra minimalistic version, mainly made on Ipad. Danish electronic musician and DJ Kasper Bjørke has done a really cool remix. Finally we made a space mix, mainly for our own pleasure and for those who like to get out there and more into it. A video is in the final editing stage, following the style of Beautiful Day and Cocaine Cool, with self made animation. Music is more than a trendy sound and a fancy look. Laid Back is always going for something personal, original and timeless.
Copenhagen, September 2011.

Frank Lorber & Philipp Maier aka Santé are rolling a big Tech House blunt that abducts you deep into the realms of modern club music. Hypnotic, groove-charged and with a very demanding bass line, the duo proves that their cooperation was a very good idea. Santé (who is well-known for his productions for Be Chosen and Tiefschwarz's label Souvenir) and the Frankfurt-based Cocoon DJ and "Nummer" label boss Frank Lorber are harmonizing perfectly. The duo are presenting three big tunes that create the appearance that they have been producing together all their lives.
While "Rootdown" and "Give It To Me" are fathoming the House area in a very skillful way, "You Know Paris" is nothing else than a veritable Tech House burner, which has no need to hide behind the productions of Butch or or Reboot. A great release, which will perfectly fit into the highly convincing DJ sets of Lorber and his colleagues!

Already their debut maxi "Soopertrack" on Border Community from 2006, which can still be found in many DJ cases, but also the "Titelheld EP" (2006) and the album "Schöne Neue Extrawelt" from the year 2008, which belong to the best-selling releases on Cocoon recordings, have also ultimately rocketed the two Hamburg residents Arne Schaffhausen and Wayan Raabe - famous for their excessive live performances - to the Mount Olympus of the most style-forming Techno protagonists within the last ten years. "We don't want cowardly Zeitgeist Techno. We want to be courageous and dare new sounds and melodies. Sunrise scenarios, energy, revolution and 'Kaputtheit' - these are all parts of the Extrawelt", the two musicians once said, and this artistic credo applies for the long-awaited second Extrawelt album, too. "We took our time and have collected tracks that have particularly touched us, no matter whether they are club-compatible or not. Besides that, we didn't want to repeat ourselves but create a unique second album that's stands for itself." Without doubt, the two have succeeded in this!
Writing about the single tracks here would not make much sense. Just a few words: Every single track is unique! And still, there is definitely inside what the label promises: Extrawelt. The variety and, at the same time, the unity of the most different sounds, the caring arrangement and the fascination for details can only be described as a great sonic performance! This is again that valiant and brave reaching into the well-filled sonic lucky bag of modern electronic music that makes "In Aufruhr" so much more than just dancefloor entertainment. The spectrum of musical influences has again extended and the most different styles of electronic music are connecting seamlessly with the Extrawelt spirit. Here, the sonic Zeitgeist is not the determining variable for the music - what really counts is the creation of nothing more and nothing less than a new world, by the means of a never-exhausting power of acoustic imagination which shows new facets, even after the thousandth time of listening pleasure. One should be careful with the use of superlatives, but this is exactly how masterpieces are sounding!

SIS may have been a latecomer to electronic music, but he made up for lost time in no time with releases for Cécille and Sei Es Drum, including the infamous anthem "Trompeta" in 2008. Now SIS is preparing to unleash his leftfield percussive sound with his debut project for Get Physical Music, the EP 'SIS IS SIS'. For this release, SIS turns his hand to remixing some of the finest tracks in the Get Physical catalogue. On the A side we find Audiofly's recent hit "Fela"; an Afrobeat infused slow-house burner. SIS' rework favours hollow percussion and shuffling, scraping ambience. The hypnotic bass loop and pulsing mid-note tether the track to its foundations as voices float and freefall and Rhodes phrases are stretched and swollen beyond recognition. Occasional drums and bass re-inject the original track's tribal appeal, but SIS still keeps it in a feverish, psychedelic dancefloor state. Flipping over to the B side of the EP, M.A.N.D.Y.'s "4+1". The track originally appeared as a sparkling melodic highlight of M.A.N.D.Y.'s iconic At The Controls mix of 2006. SIS' new treatment adds hypnotic waves of ambience, while transforming in into an intricate work of sounds design. Within it, string noises move inwards and outwards from all angles as the extended arc of the track shapeshifts through a myriad of electronic shades and textures. Digitaly, SIS brings us his interpretation of even more of Get Physical's Gems. Dusted off, and each with their own distinct flavor, they work together as a strong release for SIS, proving he's here, and here to stay. In celebration of the EP, SIS will embark on a tour, sharing his creation with the world.

A LOPAZZ - Migracion (SIS Edit) B Matthew Dear - Free To Ask (SIS Edit)
After the success of the first vinyl, we are proud to present to you SIS IS SIS, Vinyl Edition #2, featuring SIS's edits of LOPAZZ and Matthew Dear on Get Physical. Picking up where the 1st edition left off, SIS takes more of his favorite Get Physical tracks and puts his own spin on them. On the A side we start off with LOPAZZ's 2004 Get Physical debut, "Migracion". A hit in it's own right, SIS takes us even deeper into the groove with a stepped up bass and heated percussion track layered over reverberated chords. Next SIS pulls out a heavy Matthew Dear track, "Free To Ask" featured exclusively on Get Physical's 7th Anniversary compilation, and lightens the mood a bit while still managing to maintain the heavy bass kick. Cleaning the synth to create a more percussive feel, and utilizing crisp claps to keep the rhythm in check.

Seuil, - Late Call
2
Seuil, - Slow Motion
The next EP on Germany's Hello? Repeat imprint comes from Seuil, one of Paris's most inspired underground producers. In terms of style, it's a match that could hardly be more perfect. Hello? Repeat has spent the past six years carving a niche for itself with EPs from Cabanne, Audio Werner and label co-founder Daze Maxim, plus acclaimed albums by Bruno Pronsato and Kate Simko. Seuil, meanwhile, has put out a steady stream of ultra-deep 12-inches on labels like Freak n' Chic and Sammy Dee's Ultrastretch. Both specialize in a sound that's modern, understated and hypnotic.
Late Call is exactly what its name suggests: a record made for the deepest, most tender portion of the night. The drums are slick and punchy, but the rest is woozy and romantic--this is one to put on when the crowd has stopped chatting and everyone's dancing with their eyes closed. Topping it off is a vocal line made famous by Diana Ross but recited here by an androgynous diva: If you need me, call me, no matter where you are, no matter how far... Dark, trippy and weirdly moving, this is one of Seuil's finest tracks yet. "Slow Motion" strikes a similar chord but with a more subtle approach. Here you notice Seuil's rare touch for subtlety: in the absence of any real "hook", he keeps the track moving with expertly sculpted drums, a warm half-melody and a gently propulsive beat. Soft chords sustain in the background to create a balmy summer night feel. Both tracks show Seuil and Hello? Repeat doing what they do best: delivering something deep, functional and full of character.

Matthias Vogt, - Stillach
The musical heavyweight Matthias Vogt is back on Polytone. "Copying the future" has the potential to be a classic. A track with character and a high recognition value: hypnotic rave stabs and uplifting chords combined with a driving groove will send shivers down each true music lovers spine. "Copying the future" is delivering deja vu´s without copying the past - a great track with a past and a future, deeply rooted in the here and now. "Stillach" claps its way into every listeners ear. The B side of the EP named after a mountain stream in the Allgäu is calm and also powerful with a slow, minimal and very tight groove. Vogt is going deeper!

Italian producer Simone Fedi, hailing from Tuscany, takes things to a whole new level on this third release on Eskimo Recordings. 'Bitter Devotion' is a vocal pop gem with a Balearic tinge, but its bittersweet vocals and the addictive melody will haunt you. For this tune Fedi, a multi-instrumentalist with a knack for pop music and a soft spot for vintage gear, joined forces with a mysterious singer named Lola Rent, and this turns out to be a winning team.

Abdulla all of a sudden appeared on the scene with his label... and a couple months later he pops by again with this 2nd twelve. Trippy deep gritty techno tracks from this guy thats clearly not aiming to be the next most popular producer in the Resident Advisor poll. Uncompromising tracks that must be played out loud in a dark basement style setting with loads of smoke and strobo. Raw techno just as we like it!

The third EP from LAAK on Austere is very much in the same vein as the labels’ ethos – raw, profound underground house music! The opening track “The Fourth Space” kicks things off with a Larry Heard-esque bassline, along with delicate synth lines, industrial sounding chords with trademark warm pads. The second track “Digital Age” has funk written all over it. With a militant voiceover, shuffling beats and spacey keys this is sure to get you moving. Opening the second side is “Lose Control” a developed song with constrained vocals and lots of substance. The final track on the EP “Hurt Me So” is strictly for the deep heads! Floating pads, and low sub bassline are the order of the day here! With the past releases on Austere getting props from players such as Jus Ed, Keith Worthy, Steven Tang, Anton Zap, Malcolm Moore (Altered Moods), Deep Space Orchestra, Homepark, PJOTR (Ethereal Sound) , Area/M50 (Wave) and DJ Spider, this EP will not disappoint the heads so don’t sleep on this!

Little can we tell you about this mysterious character. Only that a famous DJ from RODterdam is behind this alter ego and that he did a very well received EP on Ben Klock's Klockworks earlier this year. The mysterious ROD enterns the Balans arena with an uncompromising, abstract techno affair. Little can we tell you about this mysterious character. Only that a famous DJ from RODterdam is behind this alter ego and that he did a very well received EP on Ben Klock?s Klockworks earlier this year. The music coming from this persona is one hundred percent puristic, stripped down, DJ tool Techno. With a capital T you have seen that right! No nonsense hypnotism as we rarely see it nowadays. Three or four sounds per track, each pushed and stretched inside out for maximum result. These tunes are made for dark, strobe lid cellars or underground techno temples such as Berghain. Techno is back and this is about as abstract and underground as it gets. We look forward to release more ROD records in the future.

Second episode of the Life’s Track saga reach the top of a new intergalactic dimension! The spiritual and cosmic attitude of the faboulous italian live duo this time gets, on A1, more techy, hypnotic, mind-penetrating and aggressive, while A2 shows a fresh mysterious, sexy and holistic reinterpretaion of some of the best oldschool Chicago house made by artist like Virgo Four. On B1 instead you’ll find some raw and melancholic keys a la Glenn Underground style with a touch of percussive madness and B2 ends up the ep with a trascendental and estatic boogie tech funk tune dense of trancier gentleness and tantric expressionism.

Matt Thibideau, - When It's Time

Matt Thibideau, - Night Drive
Eclipsemusic is pleased to announce the sixth release introducing the talented canadian producer Matt Thibideau. He is known in Toronto, Detroit, Montreal, & Berlin for having performed with the ikes of Mike Huckaby, Akufen, Richie Hawtin andreleasing music on labels such as Mike Shannon's Cynosure and Sub-Static with hisnew wave-industrial band Repair.. Matt has a very personal approach to making music that refuses to use software instruments and give free expression to his unlimited passion for the sound of his analog synthesizers. He records directly through a mixer playing his live instruments. This particular feature shines through his deep and warm sound! "When It's Time" is a typical techouse style track with a solid structure consisting of a straight and bouncy rhythm, deep bass with futuristic chords and techy arpeggiators running over it. The track starts very deep develops into a more raw sound that leaves no survivors on the dance floor! "Holding On To You" is a much more dub-oriented track This time we have ambient and rarefied atmosphere which develops progressively over a repetitive bass line and drum machine rhythm with a mixture of chords and pads typically inspired by the Basic Channel sound. The title track "Night Drive" (licensed from Matt's Obsolete Components record label) is a masterpiece of deep house music vaguely reminiscent of many mid-nineties works from labels like Guidance Recordings and Wave Music, that will become an instant classic for all deep-house heads. Very melodic and groovy bass line with a mixture of pads, reverberated chords and many delayeffected elements. 7 minutes of pure deepness.

HDR002 takes us straight to 90's house territory with four new edits from NYC's Marcos Cabral. The A-side opens with "Sym Phon", an anthemic filtered piano house jam that opens up wide and swallows all in it's path. A2 gives us "Better Think Again" with sticatto chords and twinkling keys in a Jersey-esque house sound. The B-side hits with "In The Sea", starting off with a giant slow tribal beat and then morphs into a psychedelically swirling synth workout. B2 wraps things up with "Get Get Get" turning our ears to old school Chicago house. Roland's TR-707 lays the percussion down while the chant of "Get in the groove" repeats into infinity.

Recorded both at the Black Ark and a studio in Holland in 1980 while Perry was allegedly gobbling acid by the handful. The last album to feature the sound of the Black Ark, ‘Return ..’ is a truly spacy, meandering, borderline incoherent, but frequently amazing recording. As if Perry needed chemical stimulation to be far out, this record is a stunning glimpse of how far he was planning to push the production envelope. Must be heard to be believed

Following on from last year's Dachshund Skank EP by Klic & Article.01, we have asked some of our favourite producers of the moment to add their own slant to the originals which previously found their way into the DJ sets of Martyn and Addison Groove and gained support from BBC6 Music. Greymatter continues with his new love for Chicago-styled synth and drum machine work-outs with his jacking take on Forwards, while Pixelord and the hotly tipped Gerry Read take the track Mustard Tiger in two very different directions on the flip. The digital release sees the talented new boy Blacksmif and Hit and Hope regular Naive Machine add their respective twists to round off the release.

As we've revelled in the abstract jazzy tones of label chief Master-H on KDD ..... Its time to take things from the smokey cellar floor to sweaty warehouse spaces, as we welcome Aubrey back to Komplex De Deep. Allen Saei aka Aubrey has over 23 years hands on experience of the scene. His DJ career took him from his first residency in Portsmouth's 'Central Park', to playing London's biggest raves and parties in the 1990's, sharing the decks with the likes of Carl Cox, Groove Rider and Mr C. Launching his own Solid Groove Records in 1990, Aubrey's career went from strength to strength. Releases and remixes followed for labels including Sublime, The End, Ferox, Mosaic, Reel, Intec and Leftfield's label, Offshoot. His material was licensed by Derrick May, Terry Francis, Pete Tong and Carl Cox, and his track 'Early Riser' co-written with Max Brennan, featured on the very first Fabric 01 compilation, mixed by Craig Richards. 2010 saw him release 'Dark' on Belgian label Mowar, and he followed that with his Komplex De Deep debut, the 'High Pass Highway' EP . Today we are proud to be bringing you his first release of 2011, the "Harlequin Opal" Ep. A four track selection that sees Aubrey move seamlessly from the atmospheric synth-laden joy of the title track to sparse, metallic and acidy sounds of Octavius. On the flip "Power Of The Drums" is an expansive, cinematic and industrial tinged cut, whilst "Radiatus 40" spins us headily in into the ether with is waves of spacey synths. Perfect! Adam Carter

After a short production break, the Russian techno duo Easy Changes (Denis Cast & Kilrill Silas) are back with a 12" on the Berlin/London based label, Mean Records, run by Cesare Marchese (Cesare vs Disorder ) & Federico Benedetti (Onirik). The Lion is also a Good Drummer includes three bonus digital tracks and fits in nicely with the label's love of minimal techno productions that feature original sounds, moody melodies and deep aural landscapes.Easy Changes gained recognition in 2007 with two back to back hit releases on Foundsound Records. In 2009, they were the first EP from Nervmusic, a Moscow based label that focuses on unconventional techno started by Cast, Silas and friends.Seated comfortably between the avant-garde and the dancefloor, the release has something for everyone. The title track, The Lion is also a Good Drummer is an epic, crawling minimal techno production filled with stripped down percussion and abstract found sounds perfect for after-hours. On the flipside is the uptempo, quirky and tribal Burlesque, replete with spliced vocal samples, snares, cymbals, bleeps and claps. For the Burlesque remix, French producer DoubtingThomas shows off his lifelong obsession with percussion and its rhythmic allure with the addition of a trippy drum solo midway through the track.Sterlyad, the first of the bonus digital tracks, is the darkest of the bunch, a minimal techno production with a driving beat punctured by maniacal sounding vocal samples. The second is Warped Pothooks, a blend of warm and deep dancefloor friendly industrial techno punctuated by piano keys and subterranean french vocal samples.Doubting Thomas' second remix of Burlesque is heavy with spacey distortion and reverb while still maintaining the spirit of the original.

Pal SL returns with another highly playable yet artist orientated 12" from L.D.Nero (aka Alex Cortex) who returns to the label after a nine year hiatus. His fantastically received Nite Out 12" for sister label Trelik showcased the more subtle depths of his production style whereas "Washback" grabs the bull buy the horns with an infectious analogue bassline, bold upfront percussion patterns alongside Perlon-esque guitars and organic synth washes. "Simple" picks up the pace with a more mathematical soundscape, driving the speakers whilst teasing with intermittent vocals. "Give Credit" completes the package tipping its hat to the early UK acid sound showcasing retro sound design, lo-fi vocals and historic drum loops against a deep synth and bass back-drop. Mastered By Lopazz.

Autoreply offshoot Stuga returns with a highly playable 12" that's perfect for the outdoor party season. For this release we welcome back Ben Rourke who has previously recorded for Autoreply, his Blue EP collaboration with friend Pier Bucci having sold out instantly and going on to receive critical acclaim. His tracks effortlessly build without the aid of well known formulas always using high end sound design but never forgetting that house and techno music is essentially meant for dancing. "Tahiti" is one of those tracks that's perfect for the big room or after-party alike featuring bouncy percussion, an analogue bass-line that will properly drive the sound system and one of the most infectious synth-sequences of the year. In fact the man's developed a whole new genre, "Desert Island Techno" ! "Sharpie" explores the deeper realms of dub driven techno with a very liquid approach just so slightly tipping its hat to the 90's Detroit vibe and still very much aimed at the floor. Enjoy.

October and John Osborn are proud to present the inaugural 12inch on their newly minted Bristol and Berlin based House & Techno label: Tanstaafl records. TANSTAAFL is an acronym for [There Ain’t No Such Thing As A Free Lunch]. We kick things off with John Osborn’s debut release, Epoch 4 backed with a darker, reduced; dub-influenced Version. John based in Berlin worked with October in his Bristol based studio to create and produce some wonderful, raw, dirty analogue house music. Both tracks were meticulously produced by Herr Osborn and recorded and engineered by October. Laurie Appleblim’s joined the studio session and he dove straight into the Juno 60 and played the melody that finnishes the track off. Tough floor business for your feet and mind; tried and tested around the world. A great start for this promising label.

Daniel Solar is one half of Dikso, the excellent edits imprint responsible for many a disco-rinsed dancefloor burner over the last year. The Hannover native is also one of Berlin’s emergent talents, a DJ, producer, label owner and A&R intent on bridging the gap between disco and dance music, while coaxing the techno-loving city’s tastes a little further off the beaten track. As a child of the early 80s, Daniel was strongly influenced by synth pop and dance music, before rap and hip hop caught his imagination and inspired his first forays into production. Once he had finished school, Daniel became more and more and intrigued with house and techno, clubs and raves, and his studio style expanded to take in electro, techno, and deep house until we arrive at today and his latest release: Too Much Light EP.

London based house imprint Trelik presents OCH who under this anonym initially stepped up for PAL SL and has since bagged winners on Autoreply, Stuga Musik and soon SECT. With a compulsive passion for the dying art of crate-digging combined with a love for modern synthesis techniques he manages to put together a 12" that could easily be described as psychedelic Chicago. Whalesong is a pulsating floor work-out which references the US greats whilst building an emotive sub-aqua soundscape. Blind is The Wind follows with a sneaky chord driven spoken interlude which creates an air of tension before climaxing into Last Chance Saloon. This is deep yet driving showcasing haunting vocals with lush chords alongside the original principles of house music and plenty of bass. Mastered by Rashad at D & M.

Dresden’s cult label Uncanny Valley returns with the charming catalogue number six. Following up Jacob Korn's first Artist EP for the label it’s C-Beams' turn now to continue the series of Artist EPs. Break SL’s and Sandrow M’s project can be referred to as a true label’s child. Musically, both artists got to know each other only when the label was founded. For “Strollin'” they lend the vocal talents by Tina Slotta who is associated with Uncanny Valley as well. The result is an irresistible House-jam. Easy vibrant beats are complemented by birds’ twittering, warm keys and Tina's carefree lyrics. Jackmate’s remix toughen things up and transfers the tracks with mighty Detroit- chords into a real monster for the dancefloor. The slightly murkier “Scrapyard” takes its strength out of the interaction between its vehement beats and the C-Beams- typical sound excursions. Finally, the instrumental of “Strollin'” rounds up the EP.
