Back once again here is the most fabulous... Rampue! Being referred to as one of the most promising production talents and the undisputed master of the new Romantic House movement taking over todays dancefloors our man from Berlin caters his next four piece EP under the innocence-craving name of "Lets Be Kids Again". Starting off with the sound of looped, campfire'esque and folk-referring guitars on top of tricky, stuttering beats the opening track "Never" is causing a bit of confusion before transforming into the most soft-skinned piece of SlowHouse one has ever come across, featuring the most tender and fracturable female voice sampled in the history of electronic music. This one's neither a track or a song - this one's nothing but pure audio love. Coming up next is "Sometimes" with it's deep ambient'ish intro built of layered minor strings and a few shakers which turns into a slowly pumping DiscoFunk excess serving all ingredients for being what's to be called a late night ladies tune. Seductive vocals? Check. Chicago-referring basslines? Check. Background vocoders? Check. A groove that's hell of sexy? Double check. This one's as brilliant as Daft Punk's debut album for sure. The title track "Lets Be Kids Again" is on a more dancefloor demanding tip with ever echo'ing sounds, pumping drums and a special clap drive perfectly corresponding with flickering, slightly balearic guitars, tweedling violins and sweet, melancholia-infused vocals singing praise of golden childhood memories. Finally we have "Colour Back" which is to be referred to as the next piano driven future classic. More fragile vocals meet very unique and creative filter techniques here, hosting a thrilling scifi synth line that seems to be sprung from the ItaloDisco heydays, perfectly contrasting the organic backing with its cold and artifical vibe.

It's only early July, but 2013 has already proven to be a landmark year for production/DJ duo Deep'a & Biri. With a couple of their tracks being released on Transmat Records and appearing on Derrick May's mix compilations on the one hand, while on the other, getting signed to DJ Hell's International DJ Gigolo Records, where they released a single in April and have a full album forthcoming mid-September - it seems that all corners of the techno diaspora are ready to catch up on their sound. But it doesn't stop there, as they now launch their own Tel-Aviv based label, Black Crow. With a successful series of parties operating under the same name, bringing to Tel-Aviv a tasteful selection of the world's top class techno DJ's and live acts, Black Crow, the label, is set to counter-match this high standard with its musical output. Inaugurating the label is the imminent release of "Redshift", produced in collaboration with their long-time partner and excellent producer on his own right, Gene. "Redshift" has the signature Deep'a & Biri sound, a pumping Detroit-indebted roller, with shout snippets riding in & out the keys-led workout. Keeping it in the Mediterranean, Greek producer Argy provides the remix, accenting the baseline and adding a spoken vocal that takes "Redshift" all the way to Chicago. Rounding off the package is "Blueshift", which demonstrates the team's melodic tendencies, with its more spatial arrangement perfect for those deep space moments.

A strong cast of producers here with Jerome Sydenham, Jimpster, D'Julz, Santonio Echols, Manoo, Oskar Offermann and Claap core artists John Dimas and Nikola Gala. All have stepped up with some excellent interpretations on early Claap releases, focused strongly on the dancefloor. The result is some stunning productions showing Claap's pure club sound experience. "Alles Claap vol.1" carries the GummiHz characteristic mixing signature along with previously unreleased material plus a GummiHz exclusive new track. Alles Claap is a story about the label's past, present and future all taking place simultaneously! The perfect soundtrack to your summer nights or any other season!
Having played various venues around the globe and with a plethora of diverse productions coming on all levels of house, techno, disco and more, Alex Tsotsos has built a strong reputation with his different projects and GummiHz is a strong proof of this. In his usually extensive dj sets he is known to effortlessly fuse together elements of different tracks in constant evolving transitions. A very versatile and saught after dj, Alex is well respected amongst the international dance community and at the top of greece's export in musical talent. It has been the past couple of years that GummiHz started carving his own path in the industry by launching Claap along with two vinyl only imprints, C-EDITS and the Raw Instinct volumes. A necessary step in his artistic evolution after working solely with Berlin's Mobilee records on many singles, his debut album "Sleepless nights" (2009) and one of the milestone mixes in their compilation series. In the meantime, Alex didnt hold back on the productions, having released a plethora of productions on labels like Real Tone, Ibadan records, Wolf + Lamb, Defected, Claap and many more under different projects and labels. Following on from big releases by the likes of Cherie Lee, the storming Danse Club Records are back with another big house classic that comes complete with on point remixes from Dutch tech house hero Lauhaus, label bosses Brodanse plus Bass Culture alumni John Jastszebski who’s version will be vinyl only. Kalisha’s original is a classic house beat released on N Sync Inc back in 1992, but it still sounds hugely on point. With garage inflected beats, grainy, catchy percussion and pristine chord stabs it is an ebullient jam that brims with personality. The recognisable vocal samples help take it to the next level and mean it cannot fail to fill dancefloors everywhere. Updating the track for modern listeners are the three remixes. First is 100% and Area Remote stalwart Lauhaus who has long been a champion of loopy tech house. His version is much more punchy right
from the off. The kicks are bulbous and the chords more metallic whilst the vocal is allowed to shine through at various points, just when you need it. The Brodanse brothers then do their educated thing by stripping the track back to eerie FX and thick wavey bass tones. Little melodic hooks pan left and right and imbue the whole thing with plenty of dynamism and the much more sparring use of the vocal helps make this a track very much with its own identity. Finally, vinyl buyers will be treated to an extra remix from fast rising French producer John Jastszebski. His version is stripped to the raw techno leaning bones. The textures are dark and broody and the groove New Release Information is heavyweight and wellchiselled meaning it locks you in place and keeps you there right until the last rotation. Another timely house rerelease from Danse Club then, but as ever one which comes with some fantastic modern updates to keep things moving forwards.

Humans, are an electronic music duo based in East Vancouver BC. Following the success of Avec Mes Mec (2010), Humans released 'Traps' March 6th on Hybridity Music.
Since Robbie Slade and Peter Ricq met in 2009, Humans have been in a constant state of growth. In 2010 they opened for Broken Social Scene, Crystal Method, the Junior Boys, and Clipse, and played the Shambhala Music Festival. In 2011 they played Glasslands Gallery in NY and festivals such as, SXSW NXNW, WEMF, the New Forms Festival and Big Time Out. Humans latest EP emerges with obvious maturation, each track carrying a depth of sound, evolved production, and focused vision, while never straying from their early commitment to make music for the dancefloor. The duo recently played SXSW and CMW and are set to tour with Young Empires this summer.

His DJing has taken him to legendary clubs around the globe like Florida 135, Sub Club (Glasgow), The Loft (Barcelona), Space (Ibiza), Redlight (Parisa), and many more. Nacho delivers a very diverse two track EP that should find its way into the sets of many this summer. The EP starts out with the rocking Acid House influence title track "Ghosts". Konstantin utilizes an analogue feel to achieve a retro vibe backed by a massive bassline and a heavy production. Konstantin Sibold who is another very promising german newschool producer delivers a second 'Years Ago' Remix, and this time he takes a totally different direction. With crisp percussion at the forefront, and rhythmic synth to back it all up, the track creates a wonderful raw loop driven energy. The second original track of the EP, 'Falling Leaves', uses an acid-inspired bassline with very deep chords on a almost classic techhouse backing to create a great melancholic vibe. Piemont creates a relaxed and open vibe with the remix of falling leaves. A rhythm heavy number with an organic feel, this is not a heavy club banger, but, more of an open-air classic in the making.

An 'Autochthon' In Greek mythology was a child born directly from the land, without the intervention of any parents. Today the term is used in the fields of Ethnology and Biology defining 'local', 'indigenous' or simply 'originary from'... As rough as beautiful, the Autochtone figure invites us to wonder on the sum and substance of life. He offers us an excursion into untouched sanctuaries, dream areas where music and dance recall sudden flashes of primal recollection. Unchained, he teaches us to explore forms, rhythms, balances and shades. From his everlasting roots, we extract the essence to draw our vinyl grooves, developing a playground of audio promenades around the tones of repeated electronic dance gatherings. For this very first release, us Autochtones deliver some cut-up drums with an odd melody, shaping a long 45'er : an edgy overture for igniting the night. On the flip side , a primitive, sparse and hypnotic piece module a combination of an acid bassline with early techno reminiscence pads. Finally, the B2 honours are made out of a dense and industrially rooted roller, including an undertaker voice and some dazzling snare drums, bringing it to the more 'techy' cut of the record. But Autochtone is about gatherings, so we will be joined in the path by sons of further corners of this metaphysical land we all call 'TECHNO'.

Following on from the RELOCATE 12" released earlier this month, comes an EP of 4 original tracks from Cutters Records' latest signing; KAUF. The LA based artist has been honing his own dark twist on modern electronic music since 2011, with heavy drum production, dense, cinematic synth buildups and high-pitched, echo-laden vocals. His aesthetic lies somewhere in between the worlds of slow house, industrial dance and drony avant-pop earning comparisons with the likes of CARIBOU, MATTHEW DEAR and TORO Y MOI. The AS MUCH AGAIN EP is KAUF's most substantial release to date and (much like the artwork) paints a dark, but distinctive picture of the man himself, as a unique and undeniable talent. The EP kicks off with two slow-building, hypnotic pop songs; IN TOW and THE CLOSEST. Then the energy switches up a notch with his percussion-heavy slow-dance anthem; RELOCATE. Things reach a climactic conclusion with the sun peaking over the horizon, but the party still in full swing as WHEN YOU'RE OUT unfurls it's snake-like arpeggiators and bewitching rhythm track, up to the heavens, then slowly back down to earth. Maybe it feels like dusk… or maybe it's more like dawn; it probably doesn't matter. AS MUCH AGAIN will be the perfect soundtrack.

Italian duo of deepness pop up on DKMNTL... dope EP! After appearing on Aroy Dee’s MOS label in 2012, Italians Ksoul & Muteoscillator are back with some more dusty and degraded sounding tracks, this time for Holland’s irrepressible Dekmantel imprint. There are three new cuts in total from the pair, each exploring a slightly different yet always knackered house groove. 'Soul Hell' goes first and is built on heavy rubber kick drums. Shakers rustle along next to the drums and a bulbous, molten synth line freewheels up and down the face of it all as distant, soulful key stylings bring a human, jazzy touch to proceedings. 'Stinger' is even more crushed and crumpled sounding as the kicks scrap along, and here the colours from the keys and synths are just as muted and fuzzy edged. Like all three tracks there is a rough, frayed texture to everything hear – nothing is crisp or clean. Finally, 'Detrance' is slow and purposeful with underwater sounding melodies echoing out into a humid night sky. Sharp, laborious hi-hats dangle in mid air as rippling synths offer a more liquid surface and overall the murky sound design really draws you in.

"In the animist framework of Australian Aboriginal mythology, Dreamtime is a sacred era in which ancestral totemic spirit beings created the world." Francis Inferno Orchestra is Griffin James, a young and talented DJ and music producer from Melbourne. He released various 12"s on labels like Let's Play House, Wolf Music and FINA to name just a few. We believe that he could become a major player of this scene as his musical skillz and his sounds impressed the people at Zurich's Drumpoet Community imprint. On this 12" he shows us two different sides of his output. The soulful "Amber Express" could be an hommage to Moodymann's excellent work, similar to "You're The One" whereas "Dreamtime" and "Dusty Echoes" refer more to the Dub and Techno influenced corner of dance music. We were simply overwhelmed by this tracks and the reactions we had, playing them out was great. Anyway, listen and decide yourself, we hope you enjoy it too.

The UK producer is joined by some famous friends on a surprising journey. TIP! Watch The Ants, Paul White’s forthcoming EP, is sure to further solidify his reputation as one of the most innovative producers in hip-hop and beyond. The South Londoner is joined by the motley crew of Trim, Sean Price, Homeboy Sandman and rap superstar-in-waiting Danny Brown, who recruited Paul to produce nearly half his forthcoming album Old and cited him as “my fav producer to work with”. After years sound tracking the dancehalls of Bristol via their considered selections as DJs, brotherly pair The Kelly Twins add label bosses to their CVs with the establishment of Happy Skull. The label kick offs in illustrious fashion with a collaborative release between two of Bristol's most interesting producers, Kowton and Hyetal. Adopting the name Systems Of Desire, the pair worked on a track together, before going off to produce their own individual versions entitled "Control" and "Consumption"; the results are exactly the intriguing cross between Kowton's raw, crunchy, grime influenced techno and Hyetal's glistening synth work you would imagine.

Rogue Vogue has been making a name for himself as a producer worth keeping an eye on with releases on French Express and remixes on Deep&Disco & French Horn Rebellion. He's finally ready to release his next original EP titled 'Say You Will' on his new home at House of Disco Records. 'Say You Will' includes 2 originals that brim with the joyous side of 90's house backed up with 3 remixes from Dublin Aunts, LeSale and House of Disco's Sixth Avenue Express. The originals are in keeping with each other while each of the 3 remixes bring something new to the table. First up is the title track, 'Say You Will' which is a hip swaying homage to the sunny side of 90's house with more hooks than a 'Hellraiser' film. Addictive vocal stabs and sax hits are the name of the game as this one will have you digging in your drawer for those stonewashed jeans you'd forgotten about. The first of the remixes by Dublin Aunts has a day rave written all over it with an epic acid tinged bassline and clever vocal treatments. The second remix by LeSale takes a slower, sexier tip and just grows and grows, leaning heavily on the keys but also introducing some strings into the equation. Next up is the second original 'More Than Enough' which samples a vocal that many will recognise and makes it his own. A lot of this originals charm is in the lower end and will come to life on the right system. A dreamy breakdown cements this as a track that you'll keep coming back to. Finally the last remix of the package by Sixth Avenue Express ads a heavy dose of sleaze to the original with a swinging melody line. Choosing to do away with the dreamy breakdown and instead replace it with an dramatic, elongated and memorable dancefloor moment.

Following up his Groovin EP, French house producer Kool Vibes releases his second EP, Time & Chances, for his own KV label. Stepped rhythms, phased hats and soul-grunting vocals in "Get U Down" make for a lush and playful take on four-four French-tipped house, while "High Up" features short sustained rhode stabs and '90s vocal shouts. "Time & Chances" is a little rougher in its musicality and drum processing, adding some jazz elements, whereas traditional house combos come to the fore in "Something I'm Feelin", as chords and crashing hats lock in and out of each other with electric flow.

Love OD label boss Per Martinsen AKA Mental Overdrive returns with his first vinyl release since 2010's piano-driven beauty 'My House'. Since then he has released a series of digital-only EP's and a Bandcamp-exclusive album, and the title track on this new vinyl release, 'Monster', was originally included on the 'Everything is connected EP#2' - released through Love OD in 2012. The reworked and remixed '12" version' featured on this new release is severely beefed up, and presents a fine slice of 'rave disco' (if that ever was considered a genre in its own right), and might please both those who like big music in small, dark rooms or big music in, well, big rooms. The B-side features the bouncy, percussion-heavy and organ-driven journey 'Ritual'. This has long been a crowd favourite when dropped in Mental Overdrive live-sets and might resonate well with those who share a deep love for the music from the city of Detroit - like Martinsen does.

We are proud to present you Art Of Tones's first EP for Lazy Days. AOT is the brainchild of Ludovic Llorca's, formerly known for his work as Llorca on F-Communications. As Art Of Tones, he released music on labels like 20:20 Vision and Room With A View while remixing countless artists like his great rework of Tortured Soul "You Found A Way" for our 5 Years of Lazy Days Album. This 4 track EP starts with the beautiful "Elephants", a very unique and musical dance floor treat. "Myself, My Body" goes a little darker with this gospel heavy track. Lastly, The Right Moment, brings down the tempo into a 70s influenced funk number. Also available on the digital release is the Dub of the title track "Elephants". Luna) is the lead cut from his forthcoming debut album due early next year. It comes backed with a stunning remix from label bosses Art Department, their first mix in some time for the imprint and a real gem from the ever on-point production duo. Also offered up is an equally interesting effort from Eric Volta and that is sure to take the versatile young producer to the next level. The first original ‘Autophobia’ is a super slo-mo, seriously emotive track with barely any beats. Instead it’s an alluring meditation on mood and atmosphere that slowly percolates with a buried deep bassline, otherworldly effects and only the lightest dusting of percussion. Art Department’s Black Sky remix re-imagines the track for the dancefloor. Vibrant production has tinkling piano keys standing out nice and loud as wobbling sub bass props the whole thing up and chunky kicks drive things forward. It’s heart-breaking emo-house that also makes you want to dance and once again proves Art Department to be masters of their trade. Then it’s Ellum Audio and Lower East associate Eric Volta’s turn to re-interpret the track. He does so with nice loose, organic sounding drums and frazzled synth lines and hides the original vocal in the spaces in between. It’s a big bold track yet manages to retain its human emotion and nagging sense of loss. Finally, ‘My Ghost’ closes out the EP in rich house fashion. Bug rubber kick drums, tortured tones that wave up and down the scale throughout and slightly ghoulish vocals make for a vampire disco styled track that sweeps you up and carries you along on kinked waves of rhythm.

With the "Red Hook Soil EP" Nick Höppner delivers a complex, many-facetted record. On the A-side Nick opens in a classic style, but "Red Hook Soil" quickly develops a modern, atmospheric mood. Tender stabs, soft synth washes and a metallic groove complement each other in surprising harmony. Ê The B-side opens with "Bait & Tackle" which creates a darker vibe. The track builds a bridge between genres within its driving beat, the inspired use of percussion, bass and synths with trance borrowings suceeds in creating an unexpectly gripping combination. Ê On the final track "Decal" industrial sounds and rich, hissing background noise meet pushing hi-hats over a dry, rolling kick drum, Nick adds sublte variations at the deepest levels throughout and so maintains a perfect balance and flow, creating a rich texture.

Springintgut's album "Where We Need No Map" (Pingipung37, April 2013) has been reworked by a motley set of musicians. This EP features Dub, Disco, Deep-House and Skweee remixes of the cello-heavy compositions which have originally been recorded during tours in India and Japan. Duke Slammer (Bonusround) from London is one of the prodigies of the upcoming Skweee-Scene (which is otherwise mainly based in Scandinavia). Slow, bouncy beatworks merge with the essence of Springintgut's synth-hooks of "Dizzy Heights", with Sasha Perera's vocals skillfully chopped and spiced. Pingipung's hey-ø-hansen and Peter Presto re- work the ponderous "Ode To Yakushima" which ori- ginally consists of nothing but pizzicato cello chords and a Japanese voice field recording. Both artists turn this melancholy last track of the album into a deep and cheerful Dub-Session. RSS Disco are a much beloved DJ trio from Pin- gipung's hometown Hamburg, whose fame has re- cently grown on quickly sold-out records like their beautiful "Disco Very EP" (Mireia Rec). They pick the Indian track on the album and remix the south Indian string sections and vocals over layers of hypnotic percussion.

"My recent sets have become something of a Tici Taci megamix"... Andrew Weatherall, As recommended by the Chairman...A brand new label with some old hands on deck, tici taci is bringing the funk back with this first release - Electric Plum. Producer Duncan Gray (ex Sons of Slough, veteran of many vinyl labels) has gone back to basics, slowed things down to 110bpm and plugged in the real instruments. The A side - Electric Plum - pays tribute to the might of P-Funk, Bootsy 'n' Bernie's unison bass stylings coupled with a big unreliable analog synth calling the crowd to party. On the B side Purple Ash evokes the days when synth pioneers just wanted to make funk tracks. Look out for the big mood swing - the only thing missing is Chaka herself. The good news is that these tracks have been given a thorough road testing by the Chairman himself - Andrew Weatherall has been playing these (and a big bunch of other tici taci pre-releases) over the last few months - check tici taci's soundcloud page for links to AW mixes. Duncan is also Andrew's favoured bolt-on guitarist for remix work having played guitar on some recent remixes including Craig Bratley's Obsession.

Eugene Hector, AKA Dro Carey and AKA Tuff Sherm, is an Australian DJ, producer and visual artist. His overall style is varied and experimental, but his Tuff Sherm moniker specifically deals with BPMs around the 120 mark and is forcefully gritty, with samples stretched and layered and the rhythms resolutely clanky. ‘Burglar Loops’ is the third release by him on London label The Trilogy Tapes (after the Dro Carey EPs ‘Venus Knocks’ and ‘Leary Blips’ and the first Tuff Sherm EP ‘Pharmacy’ put out last year) and is made up of four ‘floor rippers encapsulated in a Mobb Deep vocal loop used for the title track and expanded on in the closer Drakkhen & Bley.

Jonny Cade’s name has cropped up on the underground circuit more and more over the past few years, the initial turning point for the fledgling star was his, ‘London To Leeds’, EP which was released alongside Huxley on the reputable Kolour Recordings imprint. Since then, Cade has gone on to release an array of solo single and remixes for the likes of Loco Records, Left’d and Black Key Records, and recently had one of his tracks featured on Michelle Owen’s, Moodmusic compilation. A striking indication that Cade’s mature and attentive approach to production is making waves in all the right places. The release kicks off with title track ‘Find My Way’ which features exciting young vocalist, Ria Moran’s heartfelt tones. Cade opts for swinging 909 drums and a hooky bass-lick as the driving force, while Moran’s voice sporadically eases in and out of the groove and understated chord stabs and tension building strings fuel the musicality, resulting in a classy, deep-house workout. Up next is ‘Dr. Fox’, embracing a similar deep, contemporary house aesthetic, with saw-wave bass hits, cosseting pads and hooky vocal snippets acting as the fundamental elements of the cut, Cade then plays on subtle variations in the groove throughout its near seven minute duration, to maintain an evolving dynamism and enticement. Entering the latter half of the single we have ‘Ghostryder’ up first, Cade opts for a more upfront approach this time, bringing busy drum programming to the forefront, alongside sweeping synth tones, a tom-driven bass line and dubbed out vocal licks.

You'd think it'd get harder for Wilson head honcho, Fabio Monesi to keep achieving the same level of refinement with each release he puts on, But truth be told is that he simply just glides right over it with the third part of the spectacular underground warriors. Bringing on the heavy weight all-stars FABIO MONESI, TRANSITIVE ELEMENTS aka ENRICO MANTINI, JAMES JOHNSTON, UPSWING PROJECT aka ALEX AGORE the 90's revival movement doesn't look like it'll will go anywhere soon when a release of this caliber pops out. The expression of the first track with its cry out 'put it on wax', somehow manages to claw back in time and capture the raw sound that dominated the true pioneering house sounds of days gone. Repetition is a virtue and it comes in beautiful fashion; the looped vocals, those crisp jutting hi hats and kicks just ooze dance appeal throughout. The sheer diversity ranging from the disco grooves of the final track to the idiocentric take on early electronic sounds complimented with the accompaniment of the softly weaved vocals are anything but a mere triumph for sound. The sheer brilliance is made clear with the brass arrangement pointing to the disco days and at what a time it comes at!

"Electric" - the new album as double LP with each disc in 180 gram weight! Pet Shop Boys new album, "Electric", will now be released worldwide on July 15th (German date: 12.07.2013) and is the first to appear on their own label x2 through Kobalt Label Services. Produced by Stuart Price, the album features nine tracks in total - eight brand new songs plus a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "The Last To Die" - and has a running length of 50 minutes. The British singer and rapper, Example, performs on one track, "Thursday". "Electric" was recorded in London, Berlin and Los Angeles over the last six months with one track, "Fluorescent", written and recorded within the last month. Neil and Chris comment: "Our latest album often evolves as a response to our previous album and, whereas 'Elysium' had a reflective mood, 'Electric' is pretty banging! And working with Stuart Price on a studio album is something we have wanted to do for a very long time."
