dOP, - 3 Suitcases
The first single from DOP's rollicking Greatest Hits album is your personal teleportation device into their unique musical universe located in a parallel dimension somewhere between the disco and the drunk tank. Rife with the trials and tribulations of being one the world's most beloved live acts, opener Suitcases proposes the perverse marriage of a funkier-than-thou space disco backbeat to a Louis Armstrong-esque bar room blues vocal and prove it to be a match made in heaven… or at the very least an incredibly posh bordello just outside the holy gates. Deaf Wagrant showcases the trio at their most carefree, opening like some geriatric piano bar crooner's last song before morphing into a demonic road side carnival soundtrack at the 2 minute mark. Not to be out done, the world renowned remixers provide 2 wildly different takes on the Suitcases dubs, the one and only Herbert cranking up the raw funk meter to 11, and Seuil sanding off all the rough edges to create a lovely slice of crystalline dub house, making this a collection not to be missed.

In 2009 a series of five anonymously produced ink stamped vinyl recorded releases appeared in the global techno scene under the mysterious guise "Traversable Wormhole.
The series released exclusively on vinyl. The sound of "Traversable Wormhole is a unique signature of sci-fi laden techno music with gaps of time, space & bass in between sound & rhythm.
Within a month's time of it's conception Volume 2 of the series appeared and a huge buzz was soon amassed on the project. Accusations on who was the artist behind the project ran wild.
People all over the techno scene had made theories to who was behind it. The project quickly received huge support from many of the world's most renowned techno shops such as Rub A Dub , Hardwax, Juno & Decks.
Word traveled fast through the wormhole and it was soon reported that globally respected dj's such as Chris Liebing, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Mathew Herbert, Ryan Elliot, Andrew Galluzi,
Surgeon, Function, Frankie Bones, Surgeon, DJ Deep & Radioslave were all supporting the sound of TW. With the series fast approaching into further galaxies with the appearance of Vol 3.
Techno cult blogsite MNMLSSG (http://mnmlssg.blogspot.com) tracked down TW via Twitter. A sonar ping was sent back to the popular blog and soon a "Traversable Wormhole"
mix appeared anonymously on the site, receiving rave reviews. Their were also reports through the anonymous "Traversable Wormhole" Myspace profile that dj's from the dubstep
scene were supporting the songs that had more of a broken beat structure in the series. As the series transgressed to Vol 5 by the year end of 2009 the mystique of anonymity continued to grow.
To usher in the very start of 2010 "Traversable Wormhole" would release the sixth volume of the series. At the same time 20 year veteran techno artist/dj Adam X originally from NYC and now residing in Berlin
would be invited to partake in a feature called "Playing Favorites" on "Resident Advisor" the worlds biggest electronic music website. As Adam's feature read towards the end he would subtly take
claim as the producer behind "Traversable Wormhole".
While traversing the wormhole, Adam has crossed paths with Chris Liebing and his CLR imprint. Forthcoming in Summer 2010 CLR will release "Traversable Wormhole" Vol 1-5 in digital format for the first time ever with all five volumes being digitally remastered in the highest of quality. Also planned for release at the same time period is a massive remix project that maybe the biggest ever in techno. "Traversable Wormhole" has found itself remixed from some of the best in the scene. Surgeon, Marcel Dettmann, Sleeparchive, Function, Chris Liebing, James Ruskin, Peter Van Hoesen, Terence Fixmer, Kevin Gorman, Tommy 47 & Brian Sanhaji have all taken a turn in remixing TW. The remix project will see release on both vinyl and digital format.
AND NOW comes the "Traversable Wormhole Vol 1-5" a full length mix of all 10 songs, mixed by ADAM X himself. In support of the CLR releases "Traversable Wormhole" will traverse the world with a live show tour starting in September 2010.

Terence Fixmer´s Comedy of Menace is the first artist album on Speedy J´s label since its launch in late 2008.
With his distinct music style and personality, Terence caught his attention at a very early stage of the label. His first EP on Electric Deluxe 'Machine' (with Speedy J remix) was released in the beginning of 2009, followed by 'Electric City' (with Function & Speedy J remixes) in 2010.'Comedy of Menace' is Terence fourth Album. He already released two solo albums on DJ Hell's Gigolo, the seminal "Muscle Machine"single-handedly spearheading a new style, "Techno Body Music". This was a unique combination of modern Techno and EBM of the founding fathers from Nitzer Ebb (Whom Terence still has the Fixmermcarthy project with) and Front 242. His third album, "Fiction Fiction" was released on Terence Fixmer's own imprint 'Planete Rouge' in 2009 with a more deep ambience, almost cinematic, palpable emotion and hypnotic rhythms. "Fiction Fiction" already showed the evolution in Terence Fixmer's sound. While focussing on EBM exclusively with his Fixmermcarthy project, while shifting his solo productions and performances towards his unique interpretation of Techno today. ?A scene Terence is no stranger to - with working for Attack records, founded by his friend Emmanuel Top, and releases on Music Man, Datapunk, and Novamute he helped developing this genre since the early nineties. With 'Comedy Of Menace' Terence Fixmer created a true techno album, with an instantly recognizable pure sound, a deep and dark atmosphere throughout. The Album is in many ways hypnotizing and mental, yet keeps the energy and a effectiveness for the dancefloor. Terence explains: "I wanted that people can feel a soul, a story, and the sound of every track to open up the imagination of the listener, creating images in their minds… Its an art and a passion, my heart is bumping for electronic sounds. I love when the music is really coming from the heart of the machine, when the sound is pure and raw".

"Empty Vessels EP" is Phil Kieran's debut on Electric Deluxe.
First making his name as much-loved resident DJ at the legendary Shine club in his hometown of Belfast, Phil Kieran has transitioned from local hero to main stage headliner in grand style.?His debut Album "Shh" was released with one of the worlds leading techno labels in 2009, Cocoon recordings. For more than a decade now, Phil Kieran and Speedy J have deeply respected each others music, and shared profound knowledge and interest in pushing music with technology. ?When hearing "Empty Vessels" for the first time, Speedy J's attention was immediately sparked.
The A Side "Empty Vessels" starts off the EP with a stripped down, swinging Groove. Custom subtle, tripped out sounds flavored from Industrial, House, and just straight alien and disturbing origin are shifting, moving and melting this unique techno hybrid. The B Side "Empty Vessels (Gary Beck remix)" is dedicated to the dance floor in a more traditional form, while far from following a template. A cool groove, dusty bass drum and huge rim shots create a framework for noise build-ups and Gary's own treatment of the already deranged original sounds. In all weirdness, the mix leaves no doubt about direction: it grabs you with brute uplifting energy and sends you straight to rave heaven.

Our Friends from Leipzig Alex and Dennis aka Sevensol & Bender (Kann Records) sent us some tracks for listening when Fauxpas Musik wasn't even founded. Scuba was one of those and didn't disappear from our mind since then. Klick, Klack, Bumm Tschack… now we've got some remixes from Oskar Offermann (White) and Aera (Aleph Music, Goldwill)
taking the track further and a perfect EP is done! This Vinyl comes in Hard Plastic Sleeve and is Limited to 400 Copies worldwide.

Feel Music returns! We give you the debut release of February & Mars, two space cadets from Galway in the west of Ireland, with Feel Music's John Daly on production. We really don't know how to describe this music....classic drum machines and patterns, vintage synths, 80s arpeggios, incredibly tasteful vocals and at times, epic guitars....think Magnum PI on a desert moon with Sade, David Crosby and some shoegazers, listening to House music...

Good music can sometimes be as effective as acupuncture. You just have to find the right point and with a tiny needle, it’s possible to trigger an amazing impact. Tom Clark’s Pressure Points is just such an album, knowing exactly the right places to exert pressure and thereby leading listeners by invisible threads into a truly hypnotic and pleasurable experience. Three years after his last album, Tom Clark now presents his third studio excursion. It has been some time in the making, for there has been a lot to do, but the time has proven well worth it. This is not a club album, as he says, Pressure Points shows something of Clark’s other side, and of his musical background. It is a confident and complex, but perfectly coordinated album that reflects Tom Clark’s artistic development and is orientated to the sound of his DJ sets: Groovy, deep and full of class. Twelve tracks ranging from downbeat journeys into minimal house, pushing at all the right points of its listeners. The tracks move slowly but constantly forward and enter into your body like a subtle herbal medicine. We can hear that Tom Clark is not interested in an immediate and superficial reaction from his dancers. Here he finds a more relaxed and more permanent effect. You don’t have to listen actively, the feeling is automatic. There is no escape. You could call Clark’s Sound melancholic or anxious, and it’s entirely fascinating. Especially in the tracks with Wareika singer Florian Schirmacher, which emphasise the full effect. Pressure Points is a timeless and universal album that will reveal more and more on every listen. This is music that gives its audience exactly what they need.

Mr. Statik is already a constant in the field of electronic music with dozens of releases on labels like Bpitch Control, Karloff, Stock5 and Octopus and remixes for various artists. Now, he has produced his first 12“ record for Mo's Ferry. Not the casual House – and this is not just
another DJ tool, but rather a multifaceted record with a B-side that shouldn't be left cuddling with your slipmat all the time… even though it's hard not to put the needle right back to the beginning of the A-side. Listening to „Come On People“ you could tell immediately that Breakbeat
is one of Mr. Statik's various roots. Short drumloop slices inconspicuosly stacked with the driving hihat give this merrily jumping House track a special touch. The British sound of the Greek producer is formed by an extraordinary symbiosis of House elements, funky guitar licks and a
slightly dubby atmosphere. Without even thinking of picking conventional and worn cheesy stuff to express lightness and happiness, this track does it in a very natural way. The B-side as the logical consequence extends the suspense heading to the afterhour. Referring to the
90s the sound aesthetic is primarly formed by samples. The typical Drum'n'Bass-pad emphasizes the whole concept. A varied bassline and selective talkbox-vocals take „Workin' It Like We Do“ to a higher dimension. Marking the ending oft the suspense, the last track captures you
in a different way. Jazzy drums, a piano and skillfully used reverberation make it a trippy closing piece for our travel through Mr. Statik's world.

The smallest thing can trigger it, at any moment. A word, a smell, a sound, and suddenly that mnemonic feeling of transportation to a lost memory, or a hidden place. Familiarity and recognition; someplace you've been before. Or have you? Maybe, just maybe, it's not quite the place you expected. Enter the disorientating, evocative world that Magda has created, one that teeters on opposition: otherworldly but visceral, brutally dark with a warm sense of beauty and grace, sparse yet full-bodied and dense. Haunting electronic soundworlds that fall somewhere in-between reality and some sort of intangible dreamscape, brimming with nostalgic clues to the past and a curiosity-rousing sense of remembrance. Out of the memoirs of experience comes a lost chapter, an entire world tucked away for the right discoverer to find: the uncovering of thoughts From The Fallen Page. rom The Fallen Page is an engulfing, transportive album that takes listeners from one end of the spectrum to the other, treading the fine lines of extremities along the way. Starting with Get Down Goblin, a growling, dramatic entrance into her electronic voyage, the album bleeds into tracks of all shapes and sizes, from the swelling, eerie chords and solid rhythms of Lost In Time, to the oozy, bass-ridden Breakout, to the dynamic techy workout of Your Love Attack. And though the tracks sequence to tell a story, they all fall under the same alluring spell regardless of order: for instance, Music Box - a daydreamy soundworld filled with chilling chords and a lurid sense of dread (indeed, a music box from a dark past) - is a cinematic pairing to the dizzying builds and piano fills of Doom Disco, which sounds somewhere in-between a hand-clapping, bouncing club and an ancient, creaking haunted house. The funked-out, low-slung groove of Japan closes the chapter, a melancholic farewell immersed in soft, lush melodies. The darkly-tinged collection takes on a personal, animated effect as a result of entirely unique sounds. In fact, everything in the album's movement came about naturally, from its inception to its change in direction. Originally set out to be a post-punk, dark disco set of soundtrack-inspired music, it evolved into a melodious and percussive adventure into Magda's past and influences. The album's punchy basslines and hypnotic drum patterns tell of her days growing up in Detroit, she didn't purposefully set out to find memories; the memories found her.

FIRST PRESSING WITH LIMITED COLORED SLEEVE!!!
"New EP showcases the Minus talent's 'voxplosion' production technique for vocals
"Fans can enter the Voxplosion contest for the chance to get their own voice 'voxploded' by JPLS, with the results featured as downloads on m-nus.com
Returning from "the depths", JPLS drops his hotly anticipated new release this October. The Voxplosion EP finally reveals key pieces that have woven themselves throughout Richie Hawtin's sets for the past year, tracks that have stood out for their fearless creativity and unconventionality - all the traits that epitomize why JPLS has made a perfect addition to the Minus roster. Voxplosion Puss leads the way with an endless vocal statement constantly collapsing in on itself. Words fray and splice into each other as tones dissolve. Delays fragment and build up to an apex of razor sharp flange leading to an ending that will loop flawlessly back into the beginning as if diving deeper into a fractal. Voxplosion Escape's more dire tone focuses on a conversation regarding one's hopeless and inevitable fate. Radio distortion twists in the background as signature JPLS vocal modulations tear apart. Psychedelic atoms of sound snake their way through to the end until a climax of words echos into the void. Both clips are beatless and ready to jump in a set of any genre...as long as you are ready to make the party voxplode. Accompanying Voxplosion is what has happened to the mind of JPLS after constantly warping and looping vocal cuts; Voxcycle. Voxcycle A starts sparsely with a gravity-defying bassline and sharp vocal stabs. The track continually falls back into itself interchanging rhythmic and tonal elements. The peak slips into action as bass pulls the beat back in line and percussive elements slither their way around a hybrid vocal-based snare. Voxcycle B opens up like a tense computer trying to diagnose its own madness. Fragmented vocal cuts pop into the beat as a sigh of relief drops the kicks into an ulra low frequency echo. Bass pushes the track forward as the tension rises leading into a break of metallic hats and distorted pulses of vocal perplexity. JPLS makes the machine's speech even more abstract as the beat reduces into bass infused loops of rhythmic vocal percussion.JPLS reigns supreme as one of Minus Records' most reduced and experimental sonic explorers. As such, the Voxplosion EP is anything but linear; twisting and turning in multiple dimensions beyond our own world and into a future of synthetic intelligence. When the machine start speaking to you, how will you respond?

New York's Elon provides Metroline with yet another very fine release. Clap Back is a real gem. The original mix has a beautiful spacious and airy mix that allows the echo-soaked toms and the swirling vox stabs to breathe, and they really draw you in. An insistent bass pulse provides a structure for the snappy post-garage percussion to build into a lurching, lunging rhythm. Very original, and very infectious. Ekkohaus' remix is a focused, driving deep house groove, shaped around lush, rounded stabs and heavily-filtered synths. Claps and snare emerge from the beautifully balanced mix to give the track a real disco kick. The third track on the EP Zero Gravity has a more back-to-basics feel. The bassline is dubby, but the percussion has a classic French Touch feel that gives the track real movement. A Rhodes-like synth line wraps itself round the track like a warm fuzzy blanket. Maximum comfort for house heads.

"Cramberro" and "Lift Me Up" are the strong percussive and dubby core of the EP while "Martini Bianco" and 'El de no Ser" showcase Pablo's ability to marry groovyness and melancholy.

here it is: the first tex-kraut dish that has been cooking the last months in c-rock's studio and got extra seasoning by hamburgs rising tech-house-heroes marc poppcke and kruse & nürnberg. we are proud to present a delicious fusion of flavors from brett johnson and c-rock. once in the studio it was clear that both these artists came from a similar background and were inspired by many of the same things. the result is a very colorful, late night deep house burner. they combined deep chords, heavy bassloaded beats and hypnotic arrangements all melted down to a deep house lovers delight that stands out of the current functional toolhouse wave! special thanx to kruse & nürnberg who created a dub flavoured club edit with a nice techno vibe that is a force on the dancefloor. marc poppcke's remix kicks off very subtle and moody but builds up to a heavy driving monster that will set floors on fire, too. a three course menu with enough variation to make you happy all night long!

After the release of their debut album earlier this year, the two Berlin-based producers André and Mirko also known as Channel X get their first full-on remix package on Stil vor Talent. First up is "Freak Show", the original track being full of Berlin 1920ies magic circus craziness reminiscence. Now the grand seigneurs of minimal tech house take the original and create an equally thumping and mad array of drunk trumpets and dizzy beats, and somewhere along the track there is a clumsy bassline that's falling all over the place. Adding some stabs on the break and turning the bassline from clumsy to very chunky, this track is sure to set the crowd right for a heavenly peak-time attack. Pure dancefloor material. On the flip it's label boss Oliver Koletzki himself who puts his magic house fingers onto the super sweet "Snug Descent" that features Jake the Rapper hypnotically talking about the comfort zone that is the couch. Oliver turns the track into a Caribean house anthem that is not only super groovy, but also so deeply delicate as house music should be. Add some wonderful E-Piano magic and some percussions on the breakdown and this track will surely put a smile on everyone's face. Two great remixes in this package!

MORNING FACTORY, - Radioshow

MORNING FACTORY, - Cherish
Morning Factory's second Yore EP, after their Critically acclaimed debut ep , Forgotten Moments, is clearly bursting of Talent once again and without a doubt. Once again we've got a hard-grooving four-tracker from Netherlands duo Jean-Pierre van der Leeuw and Jozef Lemmens (aka Loves Got Me High and Enzovoort) that's a match for anything else in the Yore discography. Opener "Maiden Voyage" is classic Morning Factory, an ever-so-tight house jam that twists and turns beatifically for eight rapturous minutes. A parade of glorious sounds and euphoric build-ups, the track's filled with syncopated drum breaks, chunky chords, and synthetic strings, with all of it powered by an effervescent groove and quite a dash of acid. Darker undercurrents run through "Last March of the Ants" when church organ chords stretch themselves across a windswept, broken beat shuffle. Despite the gothic atmsopherics, the tune's house boogie still goes deep when a jazzy vibe subtly creeps in and the stepping groove grows in forcefulness. Creamy organ sounds also course through "Radioshow," which takes a nostalgic glance backward ("those days are gone now…") to a golden age where something like "Green Onions" had a chance of getting played on the radio. A saxophone licks at the tune's flames as its driving funk pulse kicks into gear, but the EP's most body-shaking cut arrives last in the form of "Cherish," a charging tech-house hellraiser animated by broiling bass lines and shotgun claps and sweetened with Rhodes kisses. If there's one word that characterizes Morning Factory's material it's intoxicating.

Strut link up with one of the true greats of Ghanaian music, Ebo Taylor, for his first internationally released new studio album in over 20 years. Following the wartime big band highlife pioneers like E.T. Mensah, Taylor became a major figure in Ghanaian highlife during the 1950s and ‚60s as highlife exploded. Cutting his teeth with leading big bands like Stargazers and Broadway Dance Band, Ebo Taylor quickly rose through the ranks and became a prolific composer and frontman. “There weren’t many composers in those days for the big bands,“ remembers Taylor. “The composers were in demand – the bands were large and the scores were very involved.“ Taylor moved to London in 1962. “Those were the days we were all into jazz, me and Nigerians like Peter King and Fela Kuti – we wanted to play like Wes Montgomery and Kenny Burrell. I had the Black Star Highlife Band sponsored by the Ghanaian High Commission, mainly comprising music students. We tried to incorporate jazz into highlife and progressed through talking and through jam sessions, trying to
develop our skills and ideas. We’d sing about politics and situations – like how cold London’s weather was!“ Interest in Ebo Taylor’s music has grown in recent years with a series of
Ghanaian compilations on Soundway Records and Analog Africa and an unexpected sample as Usher lifted a riff from ‚Heaven’ for his hit ‚She Don’t Know’. A new Ebo Taylor album was a natural progression. “For new album, I wanted to advance the cause of Afrobeat music. Fela started it and we shouldn’t just abandon it. We should push it so it is a standard form of music. I selected a few old songs and composed 3 or 4 new ones.“ The “I am very happy with the results,“ Taylor reflects. T“I hope this will help to bring Afrobeat to a whole new legion of fans.“
