Due to heavy demand we’re releasing a limited 10” of the Martyn’s ‘Electric Purring’ and the All Night Long version of Sideshow’s ‘Television’ feat. Cortney Tidwell. 'Aus Music...All Night Long' as a title is not just a play on the timeless House Music All Night Long phrase, it also expresses the musical diversity of the label. From the live dub of Sideshow through to the layered, undulating techno of Sian via the heartwarming, richly textured grooves of Lee Jones our aim has always been that you can play Aus music from dusk till dawn… all night long. So with this in mind we introduce a double album that aims to fondly remember the first 20 releases via A&R and cofounder (alongside Sideshow) Will Saul's DJ mix of the back catalogue (CD2) whilst looking forward to the next twenty with 13 totally new and exclusive tracks from the core roster, friends of the label and artists who we'll be working with in the future (CD 1). Martyn needs no introduction. His debut artist album ‘Great Lengths’ on his own 3024 label has been a huge success and critically acclaimed world wide. Martyn has just returned home to Washington following 2 months of intense world wide touring in support of the album. Will reached out to Martyn at the start of 08’ to try and get him to remix the original version of the Sideshow track that backs this 10”. Although Martyn couldn’t do the remix at the time the pair kept in touch and became friends and we’re proud to have two original tracks from the Dutch wizard on the All Night Long album. His track ‘Electric Purring’ is the closing track on the CD, a potent piece to pull at your heartstrings. Fin Greenall would describe himself as the engine of Sideshow, backed up by the band he has been touring with as legendary London label Ninja Tune’s first and foremost singer-songwriter, Fink. During the bands downtime in between touring Europe and the USA, and writing his critically acclaimed soul-blues-dub, they came together in his 7Dials studio in Brighton to bring us some more trademark dub infused goodness in the form of their Admit One album which was releasedon Aus in February. His collaboration with Cortney Tidwell was a departure form the rest of the album and see’s the band touch on an Interpol esque post punk sound which we hope they explore further for the next album. Cortney Tidwell’s debut full length Don’t Let The Stars Keep Us Tangled Up came out of nowhere: its ravishing guit pyrotechnics, brittle electronic excursions, intimate torch songs and a duet with Lambchop’s Kurt Wagner served as context for Tidwell’s spectacular vocals and ensured critics adored the record. Now she’s back with Boys, her long awaited second album and her first for City Slang Records, and after two years in the studio the woman described as Nashville’s own Little Sparrow (an undisguised reference to Edith Piaf) has eclipsed her opening set with nonchalant bravado.

Since 2005, the 23 year-old Chris Tietjen is a part of the Cocoon family. With his Next Generation series at CocoonClub Frankfurt, he established one of the most important creative pools for upcoming DJ talents; besides that, he regularly provides the listeners with one of the most crucial musical determinations of contemporary Techno. The characteristic elements of Tietjen's understanding of DJ skills are on the one hand the stress of intensive bass lines and driving percussions, but also the respect for the arrangement of the individual tracks. This fourth label compilation presents all dancefloor burners of the last 12 months on Cocoon Recordings in a diversified and coherent mix: Martin Buttrich, Schneider & Galluzzi, Guy Gerber, Tiefschwarz, Reboot, Adam Proll and Timo Maas undisputedly belong to the group of artists who have enhanced electronic dance music in the past year. In his terrific mix, Tietjen focuses on the releases of Swedish duo Minilogue whose CD/DVD album "Animals" belongs to the most successful releases on Cocoon and thus is represented her with three tracks (among them remixes by Dubfire and Tolga Fidan). And when Tietjen briefly reduces the tempo after Timo Maas' brute Tribal masterpiece "Subtellite", only to continue with the Väth classic (and one of the hits in the last season) "The Beauty & the Beast" in a remix by Eric Prydz, one can definitely get an impression of Chris Tietjen's skills as a DJ.

The Chile house connection continues to sling the dopest stuff to our floors, barely satisfying the constant craving of dancers and punters worldwide for the highly addictive mixture of salacious latin polyrhythmics and organic afro inspired drum sounds with universal electronic 4/4 beats. Cut and wraped up neatly by Chile born and fastly rising don Felipe Valenzuela and swiss expat Dani Casarano, this duo continues with this heated 3 tracker to further cement their reputation from earlier releases on Fumalab as a highly combustible combination: elastic compulsively grooving house beats are intervowen with latin-american call and response vocals in “otra vida”, the fittingly titled “push” constantly builds up the pressure even in the breakdowns with frantic, flamenco style hand clapping and “the little house” with it’s disco style bassline and the conga driven beat hints at the fruitful marriage of latin, soul and dance music in the melting pot of 70’s New York. Sven Tasnadi is a producer who, with every release, audibly and gracefully takes his style down the many different avenues of house and techno city... His latest, brave work for Poker Flat then could perhaps be described as a midnight drive down Main Street, tempted by and lingering at some of the darker side streets, yet journeying on regardless....! Its a fantastic ride from Tasnadi, that sees two versions of the title cut plus a perfect B side track included for good measure. ‚Habanero‘ is a tough, tracky concoction of thick bass led percussion, warbling, building sci-fi synths and classy hi-end hats. The unmistakable groove begins low and simply builds upwards, creating a 10 minute cabride through ultra-modern tech house, Cuba style! We wont spoil the fun with the tingling breakdown‘s key moment... but there‘s also a (Without Trumpet) version on the B1....! Carrying on the chunky, dramatic vibes, ‚Piri Piri‘ dubs things out as a blissful and unique synth line carries this beautiful journey track along its honest and respectful path. A wonderfully resolute deeper moment from Tasnadi, the phasing vocal stutters and pads play together with the central in delightful harmony, reminding us of the producer‘s ear for touching and timeless arrangements.

A puzzling e-mail address later the mysterious Copenhagen Housing Authority called Precious System agreed to an adhesion contract. The merry world of modern communication! Everyone who couldn't catch the extraordinary limited releases via Innervisions' webshop that featured some unique versions, can get rid of his or her money now. "The Voice From Planet Love" is transported in an acid disco spaceship, made with some extraterrestrial super powers and fueled with the mighty kryptonite of house music. Additional action comes from said Marcus Worgull after a visit to planet Chic-A-Go and an edit of his remix by DJ Dixon. Have no fear!
