Moving Pictures is an idea that spilled from our minds — the minds of two artists — in 2018, and it’s a meeting point of shared passion.

We have cultivated, shaped and grown that concept through our common efforts over time to create an independent record label for electronic music based in the heart of Prague, Czechia.

We aspire to put out captivating and emotionally charged sound, and our specific creative process and shared belief in a DIY approach are at the heart of our label’s philosophy.

Creating a firm connection between the sonic and aesthetic elements of the releases we work with is of great importance to us, and no details are overlooked during this process. We take deep pleasure and pride creating and refining the concept at the core of each release, and there is a deep-rooted connection between the music and visuals of Moving Pictures. Each of these elements mutually inspires the other.

All the creative output you hear and see from us — production, mixing, mastering, artwork, and copywriting — is done in-house by our label artists. Moving Pictures is our shared voice.
