Sterac - Alastria
Repress! This fifth EP in the Steve Rachmad re-issue series contains a colorful combination of three tracks from different releases. Side A brings the sought after track 'Teknitron', originally released on his 3rd EP, originally released under his short-lived alias Black Scorpion back in 1995. 'Transpose' is taken from his first Sterac EP from 1994, while the last tracks 'Alastria' comes from his second album Thera, originally released in 1998. All tracks are re-mastered of course. Steve Rachmad's richly melodic strain of techno has resulted in a huge body of work he has been growing since the early 90s. His sound is the perfect distillation of machine soul - dubby atmospherics and crisp, danceable dynamics balanced in perfect unison. Amsterdam's Delsin Records gathers together some of the Dutch techno figurehead's most important, sought-after works in a new EP series, all remastered from the original DAT tapes from Steve's archives. Artwork by Boris Tellegen.

Sterac - Draghixia
Repress! Steve Rachmad's subliminal debut album 'Secret Life Of Machines' was originally released way back in 1995. In 2012 the album was re-issued, although three tracks didn't make it to the vinyl re-issue. Now ten years later this new EP now re-issues also these three tracks after all: 'Satyricon', 'Hydroxy' and 'Draghixia'. Adding to the weight of this series, the accompanying artwork is being created by Boris Tellegen, aka legendary graffiti artist Delta who first began designing sleeves with Secret Life Of Machines. Since then he created many works for labels including Delsin.

TRACKLISTING A1. Sterac - Ghost 37 A2. Sterac - Lost Track 22 B1. Sterac - System 2.1 B2. Sterac - TR-15 Steve Rachmad, aka Sterac returns to Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver imprint this May to release the 'Numbers' EP. Since his earliest days in the scene, Amsterdam's Steve Rachmad has created a legion of monikers to cover his compositions' variety and broadness. One of them being Sterac which focuses on the deeper and more obscure end of the techno genre. The Sterac discography consists of signature cuts, spread out over genre-defining labels such as M-Plant, Tresor, Klockworks, Afterlife, Mote-Evolver, Indigo Aera, and Delsin. His 'Numbers' EP sees Steve drop the first release of 2021 under his Sterac alias as he makes a return to Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver label with four tunnelling techno tracks. Kicking off the release is 'Ghost 37', which employs vacillating grooves, ominous synths and intricate mechanics before 'Lost Track 22' fuses sizzling 303s, dynamic drums and mammoth, alien-sounding modulations. On the flip, 'Rey Fur 2.1' keeps the energy flowing with a high-impact clapper featuring bustling fx and expansive tones until 'Tr-15' masterfully rounds off the EP with twisting synth flutters, rattling highs and hypnotic bass grooves intricately unfolding underneath.

Sterac - Darkness In My Life
Repress! His flagship Sterac project is present - most notably the Asphyx EP, with a long-standing titling mistake now rectified on the iconic 'X-Tracks' comes first. Four absolute classic Sterac works dating from 1995. The Delsin Sterac series will focus on long-awaited represses and hard-to-find deep cuts from the Rachmad archives. Adding to the weight of this series, the accompanying artwork is being created by Boris Tellegen, aka legendary graffiti artist Delta who first began designing sleeves with Secret Life Of Machines. Since then he created many works for labels including Delsin.

Boy was this worth the wait: Steve Rachmad's first full solo contribution on Kanzleramt was on our wish-list for at least a decade. Just in time to start our 25th anniversary series "STERAC - 11" is mastered and ready. Steve is showing all his experience and history so masterfully, that you almost can touch glimpses of the future. "11" is about the meaning of the number 11 and what figures it stands for.

Having both been on the scene for over twenty years, Mote Evolver's founder Luke Slater and Dutch producer Steve Rachmad are considered veterans of the techno scene - both outlasting the genre's various dips and flourishes in popularity.
