Today, the celebrated multi-instrumentalist and visionary artist Guy Gerber announces his new three track EP 'Dripping Diamonds' on his Rumors label. The rarest of artists in electronic music, Guy possesses the ability to write, compose and record live instrumentation with crushing effect for the dance floor. Dripping Diamonds, the lead song, sees Guy collaborate again with singer songwriter Albertina who previously sung on his renowned Bocat single. The track has been overpowering the dance floor of Guy's Rumors Ibiza Residency all summer and now he’s decided it’s only fair to share. While Guy is famed for his ability to create the worlds leading melodies, La Sombra shows a new level of beauty and cool from him. A song of careless whispers, the track will take its listeners to a deeper place most tracks fail to. It’s Idea 6 though that flexes his live composition capability, bringing in trumpet sections that make the hair on the back of your neck stand while keeping feet moving. Underground mainstay Guy Gerber is back on his own Rumors label with new EP Leave It On. Across three tracks he showcases his famously emotive and melodic house sounds. Gerber has been a core part of the underground for years, headlining the world's most revered clubs and festivals, collaborating with P. Diddy, bringing all new party concepts to Ibiza, and serving up serene and synth heavy soundscapes that move people physically and emotionally on labels like Cocoon, Italians Do It Better and Rumors. This one kicks off with the lush deep house elegance of 'Leave It On' with its languid bass and live sounding drums. Swirling pads and atmospheric vocals bring a romantic feel to this late-night jam. 'Leave Me' then picks up the pace with more percussive but still smooth grooves, this time doused in sweeping chords that bring sunshine and soul. 'Jupiter Blues' closes out with a cosmic exploration, the gently tinkling keys shining like stars as warm, rubbery drums carry you onwards and upwards. This is another classy EP from Guy Gerber.

Returning to his Rumors imprint Guy Gerber delivers his latest missive, ‘Pyramid of the Moon’. Offering up a four -track EP, the enigmatic DJ/producer drops four delicately crafted house tracks featuring Gerber’s own guitar playing and Albertina on vocals. The title track ‘Pyramid Of The Moon’ sees Gerber play with chugging low end, twinkling keys and warping guitar licks, crafting a hypnotic atmosphere throughout the track’s duration. On the flip, ‘The Untold Glory of Mister Nobody’ pairs upfront drums with further guitar chords and airy synths, fusing to create an emotionally climactic slice of Balearic bliss. On the flip Guy team’s up with singer/songwriter Albertina for the enchanting title track, the duo combines guitar licks, shuffling percussion, and subtle synth lines with Albertina’s sublime vocal performance. On the flip, ‘Polaris’v sees Gerber take the wheels solo, drawing upon his years of expertise to craft a deep and moving piece complete with twinkling arps, deep low-end, and piano work.

A producer known for his eclectic and melodic sounds, Guy Gerber has delivered the brand-new remix package of his very own ‘What To Do’ production, set for release on Friday 26th October. Embodying a varied range of sonic arrangements that the Israeli DJ has become synonymous with, the original was released earlier this year and demonstrates varied cymbal-claps and a wide range of isolated percussive instruments. With &ME spinning his own dynamic rework of the track, the German - who has performed a number of sets across Ibiza this summer, playing at DC-10 ’s ‘ Circoloco’ - adds groove-fuelled elements to the mix, a stark contrast to the deep, and driving style favoured by DJ Jes. Following a solid year of releases kick started by Beatport #1 ‘No Distance', collaboration with Innervisions boss Dixon, we’ve witnessed Guy Gerber's RUMORS label go from strength to strength. In its debut year the label has already had guest appearances from Seth Troxler and Chaim, and now Guy himself is set to reveal 'Rumors On The Dancefloor' featuring Miss Kittin. Set to be Miss Kittin's debut appearance on the label and also marking the eighth RUMORS release, 'Rumors On The Dancefloor' is a powerful embodiment of Guy's innovative imprint. Divided into two parts, the release is built around a symbolic whisper and deep bass guitar riffs that follow a galactic-inspired house and techno framework - with part two a harder offering awash with Guy's signature blend of melodic soundscapes and stylish beats. Over on the white isle, RUMORS is also encompassing a hugely successful event series held at Playa d'en Bossa’s beautiful Beachouse. The party has its own unique ethos whereby each week, the lineups can only be discovered by hearsay and word of mouth. In addition to his weekly party in Ibiza, key dates in Guy’s diary include Space in New York, Story Nightclub in Miami and ENTER's Space opening party.
