Tracklist: 1 1993 2 Moonjam 3 Want To Feel 4 Moonjam (Roy Comanchero Remix) The Mysidian label drops Ftzzgrld’s first EP of original tunes and they’re an absolute treat. 1993 features 3 deep numbers and tops it off with Roy Comanchero (Running Back, Alliance Upholstery) of Osaka, Japan’s remix of the title track. All the right influences from ’93 are there while still sounding fresh! Being one of our favorite records of 2020 so far and it just being Ftzzgrld’s first EP we might be getting ahead of ourselves when we say we’re already excited to hear more from both Ftzzgrld & Roy Comanchero!

Neud Photo (Nico Nightingale) has been on a tear lately and this latest offering for Mysidian shows up as his most dark and menacing. The electro meets techno sound we know him for is still prevalent but the amnesia-inducing ‘Dreamz’ also carries thumping EBM and New Beat influences. R&S meets Subway meets Mute. While each track plays on it’s own themes independently with tasteful vocal samples and industrial energy, the thing they all have in common is obvious. They completely satisfy aural wishes excited only during states of R.E.M. They are simply and undisguisedly realizations of wishes.
