Justin Jay makes his Shall Not Fade debut serving up six dusty House tracks for their Lost Palms sister label. Los Angeles based producer Justin Jay needs no introduction, having released a string of high quality records for labels such as Trick & Ovum. His latest outing sees him serve up six warm house tracks for Bristol based label Shall Not Fade, also inviting some friends to collab on the release: Benny Bridges & Krywald & Farrer.

Young LA star, Justin Jay, has already caught the ears of DJs and fans worldwide and released on the likes of dirtybird and Culprit. Last year, Jay shared an EP of deep house gold on Shall Not Fade sister label Lost Palms. Now he returns on their bass-oriented sublabel Time Is Now. Hypnotized EP is a fun, breaks heavy romp featuring rave powerhouse trio Denham Audio and a remix by jungle mainstay Tim Reaper. From the off the energy is high, the title track rolling out pitched vocals and dramatic drops. "I Know" is ever more frenetic, breaks cascading over one another to a fever pitch, while Denham Audio collab "Swarm" brings out 303s and dramatic sub bass wobbles for a tour-de-force of hardcore dance vibes. Rising lofi house producer Angelo Jsn gives a euphoric, breathless edge to "Burgundy", an emotive space age trance number. Tim Reaper's untameable refix of "Swarm" keeps the heart racing to the end.

Up steps the prodigiously talented 20year old Justin Jay, a true California golden child, born, raised and nourished within the LA city limits for his Culprit debut with 'The Jaguar'. The threetrack EP has been the result of organically built relationship with the LAbased imprint, with songs inspired by LA and the label's sound and credo. The title track is dedicated to that quintessential Los Angeles icon - a classic car. This is a joyous ode to a topdown drive at sunset with the city sprawled underneath and all around, its possibilities endless. 'Coldwater' is named after one of LA's most striking canyon roads, the song's rapturous tone being the emotive core of the release. 'You and Me' is the sound of the hot LA afternoon, the beach, the girls, the lazy hazy comfort of sunburnt days.
