Hame - Take Your Time
Pintai is a record label & wholesome get-together in Amsterdam. Here the label returns with an EP by Hame, the Amsterdam based producer, live artist and DJ whose music explores the fusion of energy and emotion, aiming to create moments of unity and connection on the dance floor. This slightly more club oriented EP is filled with overwhelming pads, tough grooves and powerful consistent low-end tones. The EP opens with the delicate ‘Dear Sammy,’ incorporating ethereal pads, glistening reverberated keys and saturated, bumpy drums throughout. Title-cut ‘Set Me Free’ follows and leans into more dub leaning territory courtesy of fluttering, ever nuanced stab sequences, a crisp rhythm section, snaking low-end tones and vocal chants uttering the track’s title. Opening the B-side is ‘Love Touch’, diving back into deeper realms via hazy atmospherics, subtly blooming synth lines and a robust underlying drum groove. ‘Take Your Time’ then concludes the EP with an arpeggio bass hook, drifting dream like synths, organic percussion and gritty bass stabs all subtly unfurling across its six and a half minute duration.

Hame - Memento
The second Far Blue release comes as a 4-track EP by Dutch producer Hame. In this EP, Hame explores a deeper and organic style while keeping true to his hypnotising rhythms in an emotive context. The EP happens to be a selection of tracks that were made around critical turning points in the artist’s life. These moments of change often result in new energy or the realisation to let go. These feelings tend to be fruitful for new musical inspiration

Hame - Tell Me Where
Tracklist Side A A.1 Tears A2. Unexpected Night A3. Unity A4. Sand Side B B.1 Wind B2. Little Lonely Moment B3. Tell Me Where Blurb: Hame presents ‘Almost Home’. Deeply inspired by his life story. Shortly after Hame left his mother's house in 2008, significant changes unfolded. This marked the end of a connection to a physical space when returning home. Fast forward to 2024, and a myriad of experiences have shaped his journey. Often feeling lost in the pursuit of life's purpose, Hame navigated a bumpy road that led him to places where he didn't always feel at ease. Throughout this tumultuous journey, one constant brought solace to Hame: making music. Whether playing the guitar with friends, practicing the piano as a child, or spending nights mastering Ableton during college, the act of filling the room with heartfelt sounds became synonymous with a sense of home. With his first release on Small Steps in October 2022 and enchanting performances at festivals like Doel, Hame observed that his music had a similar effect on others, offering a sense of understanding. The prospect of dedicating more time to music and sharing it with a wider audience rekindled a familiar feeling that had been absent for a long time – reminiscent of the comforting sense of direction he experienced as a child. This EP, crafted by Hame, encapsulates a myriad of emotions he encountered along the way. Notably, in the track "Tears," he employed the sound of actual sobbing to create rhythmic elements, adding an emotional touch to the composition. Through these musical expressions, Hame invites listeners to connect with his journey, offering a shared experience that resonates on a personal level.

Hame - Moments Like Now
Hame's music is all about shared feelings without the barrier of words. In this three tracker debut EP on the new label of Lola Haro called 'Small Steps', he found the sweet spot between housy energy combined with emotion. His patiently evolving backgrounds combined with subtle energy buildups through themusic keep you in an hypnotic lock on the dance floor. Hushed has a straight forward and groovy low end with energy right from the start, while slowly evolving in a viby detailed trip. Relieve has a more subtle bassline combined with lush percussion elements and a melancholic, yet hopeful human touch - creating a feeling of acquiescence. Moments Like Now is a groovy, deep, club night bomb. Its ever changing yet repetitive lead is carried by a deep sub bassline and a punchy kick that keeps you moving while textures pads and vocals guide you through the track.
