A2) Golden Bug - LookLookLook (In Flagranti Remix)
B1) Leroy Hanghofer - Pin (Jacques Lu Cont & Sloop John Barillo Remix)
B2) The KDMS - Never Stop Believing (Nicky Siano Remix)

Release Info:
This is a very special EP. As many might know Toy Tonics started as a sublabel of now sleeping German indie dance label Gomma records. Gomma, along with DFA, Output Records and a few other was knownn for a very ecclectic, different approach in dance music. On this LOST GOMMA MIXES EP you find 4 now lost tracks that came out ca 10 - 20 years ago on Gomma, but fit very well in today’s zeitgeist again. Pete Herbert, In Flagranti, Jacques Lu Cont are featured. Who knows about modern disco - knows these producers. And there is a very special name here too: Nicky Siano. The now legendary New York DJ used to be resident at Studio 54 and other legendary NYC venues of the 1970ies and 1980ies. One of his are remix works was for the Gomma rcords band The KDMS. Pure disco euphoria.

Irish, London-based producer and DJ Jamie Clark returns to his own Either Recordings with ‘Why Do You Feel feat. Yamaho’, accompanied by remixes from Silverlining and Hiroko Yamamura & Matt Tolfrey. Jamie Clarke - Why Do You Feel ft. Yamaho Either Recordings : ‘’Either Recordings presents new mixes of ‘Why Do You Feel feat. Yamaho’. Label boss Jamie Clarke (1 and 2) is joined by from Silverlining (3) and Hiroko Yamamura & Matt Tolfrey (4). Established by Clarke in 2020, mid-pandemic, Either Recordings is label and company of lockdown-inspired, gigging-denied, eclectic musical grasp. Earlier releases feature remixes from Pablo Mateo of Figure, Ryan Crosson of Visionquest and Sahar from Paradiso Records. The label boss and London-based artist Clarke opens the record: (1) The stylus vibrates to a six-minute sequence of bass, Wurlitzer and hypnotic vocals. (2) ‘Jamie’s Shinto Mix’ delivers an electro / string interpretation. (3) Silverlining shifts over to the percussion section, bass carries the listener through fragmenting vocals. (4) Chicago’s Hiroko Yamamura joins with Matt Tolfrey of Leftroom to close with a looping, pulsating minimalist take on the original.’’

Spread across 4-tracks, the producer offers fanciful instrumentation and production while conveying a narrative of preservation for mother nature.
The theme of Mother Land is inspired by one of Nohan’s main interests: nature. In response to ongoing climate change and global environmental degradation, he opted to craft a project that captured the planet's beauty - with a message of sustainability. The EP is a faithful representation of Nohan the producer - packed with his love for the piano, ipnothic synths, and suspended ambient compositions. The project opens with the title track - kickstarting the subtle, yet palpable production rooted in tangible instrumentation. “The world’s on fire… It’s calling out for you and me” are the opening lines from the vocalist, reminding listeners that earth’s fate revolves around us. “Heavenly Sing” presents a more upstart offering, with loose shakers and scintillating keys leading. This more tropical take provides optimism in sound, serving as prose for uplifting introspection in headphones as well as the ADID dancefloor. “The Sun in December” reflects its title - somber piano leads the way through a serene, melancholy soundscape. The EP also includes an ambient take on “Mother Land,” which strips its electronic backing in the intro to draw focus to the words and theme of the project. Noahn makes a perfect fit with this emblematic imprint.

You can't say Shuray without saying Walle. As one of Leipzig's DJ teams of the moment, they play by merging into a synergistic unit with four arms, four ears, and two hearts. Their first joint release "International Licence" on Filburt's label O*RS sounds accordingly pleasantly balanced and mature. The two Distillery residents focus on a music genre that has unfortunately and unjustly received less attention lately: Deep House. The three original tracks are universally applicable due to their stripped-down, Detroit-inspired timeless sound. From the most underrated slot of the DJ craft, the warm-up, to the early morning hours: The 909's spellbinding, pumping force will do its job. On the remix duties is highly talented Lea Lisa from the Wolf Music fame. For her 303 Mental Remix she adds an irresistible acid bassline (quelle surprise) and creates probably the most peak time-affine tune of the whole EP. Shuray & Walles first extended player is a perfect example for reduced but clever arrangements and above all for the fact that the best ship is friendship.
